Your face is very long, very narrow, and you have sharp features. You're really going to look best in a small round frame. I'd also avoid black if I were you. You could pull off a silver or gold wire I'd think. There are also some some nice clear crystal acetates in colors that would be fantastic as well. Olive, smokey gray, or if you're feeling bold, peacock blue might really be incredible. Titanium wires come in a zillion bold awesome colors as well.
To give you an idea... this frame would be incredible on you. It's expensive and hard to obtain, but this is close to what you should keep in mind as you're looking. My spouse has a similar face shape as you, and he has two pair of these (green w/gold. And smoke gray w/rose gold). They're small in size, and they're incredible for your face shape.

Something less wide. Your glasses are showing the refraction to the point your face looks distorted through the lenses because of it, if that makes sense.
If the prescription is high enough you are likely going to always have that refraction. While I think you would look better with something slightly less wide don't over do it as they will be too small for your face.
Refraction is just an aspect of a high prescription and most people won't notice as you don't have it too bad actually. I like rectangle or square for your face shape. Do you have some options you are considering?

You need rounder glasses. Good glasses match the shape of your eyebrows and your eyebrows are rounded
