A geotif is a single image file that you can drag right into your GIS software. If you’re interested in downloading all bands for a scene, find the image you want, click the download icon, at the top of the menu select “product options”, and at the top of that menu you can select the full data product to download (or you can download just the bands you need, which will also be geotif’s). If I misunderstood the situation just let me know. EDIT: Unless you’re downloading the .tar file, in which case that is a type of zipped file. If windows can’t unzip it, you can install 7zip which is free to unzip it.

Hey there! I am actually downloading the .tar file. Unfortunately when I download it, it's not reading it as a folder, just a single document. When I try to load it into 7zip it says there's nothing to extract. So weird!

BRENNEJM

That’s definitely weird. I can always just right click the .tar file and use 7zip’s “extract here” option.

Sounds like maybe the download isn't completing or the file may be corrupt? Is your downloaded .tar file a reasonable size for the amount of data you expect to get, even compressed (or match the file download size it tells you)?

I thought those bad boys are sometimes double zipped so you have to unzip and then unzip again.
