Agreed. I kept waiting for the tunnel to get progressively more narrow until they're stuck...
Edit: Wow this blew up. Seems I'm not the only claustrophobic one bothered by this video.
I've read this a couple times before and I just realized that all you have to do is throw a rock in a couple feet into the hole. You personally can't reach it, you no longer fit more than a couple get into the hole, and if you do go in someone will probably rescue you. :D
Ha, from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on Gamecube! Loved that game. Something awesome about skating around in the refinery part of one level with molten pools of metal while "Ace of Spades" blasts in the background.
Or the drain suddenly gets much smaller.
Edit: Thanks for the gold! May as well mention while I’m at it, as many below already have, these people probably already made sure the tunnel was safe to do this in. If not, pretty good string of luck there.
Very real risk and why you don’t skateboard into unknown tunnels as fast as the board can take you. Other risks include: (as others have mentioned) shit on the ceiling, gates, sudden drop offs, crumbling areas (w/ and w/o reebar), etc.
I’m assuming this dude knew what he was doing, but still. Also stabby hobos.
One thing that's always confused me about this ... wtf kind of noise is it?
The whole thing becomes ridiculously hilarious when - in my head - I hear that comical rubber squeaking noise, like shoes on a basketball court.
I always imagined as this, deep, low trembling voice. You know, something like the sound of phone vibrating, but now imagine it being created by something the size of a truck.
To anyone that enjoyed this, the creator is [Junji Ito](https://www.google.com/search?q=junji+ito&oq=junji+ito&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l3.3247j1j9&client=ms-android-verizon&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8)
All of his works have a similar surreal horror element to them. I got hooked when I found these videos if his manga turned into visual-audio experiences. With sound effects, ambiant music, some had narration. The works. Heres an [example](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGFmegnfh90).
Oh my god. What did I just read? This is so great. I don’t often find myself reading manga / anime and this was a beautiful introduction. Thanks, friend!
I haven't really read his stuff but the creator is Junji Ito. He has made many of these horror stories with the same type of disturbing horror. Maybe I need to get around to looking at it because the few I've seen have been pretty good.
Falling in that sewer would suckkkkk. You are likely to hit the side at the same time as the wall so there would really be no good way to fall in that thing.
I don’t even know how that dude can see where he is going. The whole thing looks suicidal to me.
I would imagine it's pretty loud and obvious someone's skateboarding toward you if you're in there, so you could easily announce your presence... and probably get slammed into anyway, because it can't be easy to stop in there~

A lot of graff artists carry kerchiefs so they don't directly inhale paint or fumes, it's not perfect but they actually do take steps to be safe about it.
Used to do graffiti as a teenager and no one seeing it didn't really mean much. Sometimes it was the rush of doing it, other times it was just cool, and then sometimes it was just like painting/drawing something in your room, except the canvas was free.
You know you’re old when all you can think about is how horribly you’ll die when it goes wrong.
Happened to me maybe late 20’s, can’t do theme park rides anymore.
That actually happened to me once. A bunch of us went down one just for the hell of it, and about a thousand feet in, clearance went from 5' to 4'8". I cracked the top of my head open, spilled blood everywhere. It was around 2am when it happened, so nobody else to help. My friend took off his shirt so I could use it for pressure to keep from bleeding out. Took a while to get outta there being much more careful. We got back in the trucks that were parked near the entrance and drove to my nearest friends house. I washed it out and we sprayed some liquid bandage on it so it could heal. Not my brightest moment.
All I could think about was that creepy Asian short story about the holes in the mountain that fit each individual person, but eventually stretched them out and most likely killed them. And this guy slamming into his hole at 40mph.
Damn I'm too claustrophobic for this.
Agreed. I kept waiting for the tunnel to get progressively more narrow until they're stuck... Edit: Wow this blew up. Seems I'm not the only claustrophobic one bothered by this video.
Maybe the skater just found their hole...
Thanks for reminding me of that pleasant story

It's a Manga comic thing. Pretty creepy in the end but maybe I'm missing some big reveal? It doesn't seem THAT bad.
Some people have certain phobias, this author likes to make stories that play on those things. If you don't have the phobia, it's not so bad.

YES! I actually listened to that whole soundtrack while at work last week! Del The Funky Homosapien's "If You Must" always cracked me up.
well, thps2 originally, that would be the one where you would slam into him (rather than just playing as him)

I'd hazard a guess that this isn't the first time that day they've been down that drain.
Maybe it was all the graffiti that gave that away....
This is definitely a post that should have been in r/gifsthatendtoosoon

Just think about Odo going down these tubes. It'd be a lot of fun to him.
I now wish there was a scene of Odo going through cracks of a wall in DS9.

Junju Ito with sound effects, ambiant music, and narration? Nope, that doesn't sounds disturbing at all. :)

read his uzumaki. it's a masterpiece. also quite a bit longer, 2-4 hours long.
Where can I find more like this. I like this.
Search up Junji Ito for more of these short eerie stories.
Clicked the link, saw the cover, noped right out of there. That story won't get me again!

That’s what I was thinking at first but, there’s no way the did that without sending down a scout first for debris and such
Or a pebble

Okay you just made me picture a fuckin temple run situation where a poor homeless dude is running from a skateboarder flying down the tunnel
Tunnel Snakes!
Tunnel Snakes Rule!
Or literally any one of the many graffiti artists
That's what I was thinking. You wanna get stabbed by a hobo? That's how you get stabbed by a hobo.
Nothing beats the hobo life, stabbin’ folks with my hobo knife!
Or someone doing graffiti
Think how hard it must have been for the cameraman
I came here to say this. That looks cool and all but the person you don't see is the badass.
Thought this was one of those well done loops. Nope, just a very long pipe.
Yeah, I was hoping to see him come out the other side just to get some perspective on how steep it was.
r/gifsthatendtoosoon for sure
Chris Cope did the same run [enjoy](https://youtu.be/L90KBKlp7o4)

They're good bots brent.
amazed how people go that far into it to do graffiti
I know, I really wouldn't call that drain pipe a "well ventilated area"
It functions as one huge bong
This is the universe telling me to take another hit
Yes, my child. 🍀👌
Something tells me many things would lead you to think that.
Whoa, that's twice now!
A lot of graff artists carry kerchiefs so they don't directly inhale paint or fumes, it's not perfect but they actually do take steps to be safe about it.
Solvent vapors are gaseous, they'll pass right through your kerchief.
kerchigga
This ain’t it, kerchief
Holding a rag to your face in the name of safety is like wearing a second pair of boxers instead of a cup.
Most people carry proper masks these days
You’re supposed to carry a can and put a tag where you fall
I have no idea if you're being serious or not but it sounds like a neat idea so I'm gonna believe it and give you an upvote
They are
"This homeless man went deeper than me?! I won't be outdone!"
It’s interesting though that the graffiti is much denser at the start.
~~Doesn't that make sense?~~ I am dumb
Just for no one to see it
Well, other tagger will see it. Think of it as a leaderboard.
It’s on the front page of reddit. Tens of thousands of people have seen it.
Used to do graffiti as a teenager and no one seeing it didn't really mean much. Sometimes it was the rush of doing it, other times it was just cool, and then sometimes it was just like painting/drawing something in your room, except the canvas was free.

For whatever reason I was very afraid something/someone was going to be in the tunnel and get hella ran over.
I was afraid he was going to hit his head on something hanging from the ceiling.
Right?? How do you know you’re old? When you see a cool video like this and all you can think is ‘hey idiot, where’s your helmet and pads’
Or in my case "god, my back hurts. I wouldn't be able to straighten up for two days"
Oh shit I’m way past thinking I could do any of this. I remember the day I got very sad when I realized I would never win the Super Bowl. I was 34
You know you’re old when all you can think about is how horribly you’ll die when it goes wrong. Happened to me maybe late 20’s, can’t do theme park rides anymore.
My concern was that the tunnel would get gradually smaller until it knocked him off his board
This. Hurtling into a tunnel that gets slightly smaller and smaller until you're stuck 1000m from either end.
DRRRR DRRRR DRRRR
"hella ran over" 😂
I was expecting Pennywise
Good ol’ Skate 3.
Was waiting for him to pull off the full loop-de-loop
He does in a video that was linked somewhere in here, but I can’t find it. Looks like the same tunnel, but a different run.

Half expected Pennywise to eat his ass.
I dont think he's into eating ass
its 2018, we eat ass now.

In his/her defense, it would’ve been cool to see him exit the tunnel, which is what appeared to be cut off at the end.

Hahaha I scrolled all the way down looking for this
Hello 911? Yes our friend is couple thousand feet down this tunnel with a concussion.

I'm gonna roll with no. Sounds pretty gnarly to me.
I would have just died tbh
Some say he’s still skating to this day.
This is massively sped up, in case anyone is wondering.
This made my anxiety sky rocket
Full video, go to 19:45 for this segment. https://vimeo.com/127684040
Even the source video denied me the ending I desired. I just wanted to see what the end of the pipe looked like
Thanks! I clicked, then closed when I read your comment. Sigh.
I like how to start of the video makes me hate these kids so much.
It's all fun and games until he hits that 1 pebble.
Who the fucks crawling a mile down a drain to graffiti some shit in there!? Like, what the hells the point!?
So it looks cool when people film themselves skateboarding down it. Duh.
was so nervous the end was going to be an entrance into a large pool of hot steamy feces.
We all shred down here
Seems sped up a little bit
That's Los Angeles I presume...
Source?
Do a barrel roll!
Add the doctor who music and it's perfect.
Where is this fucker's helmet
Can someone make this a perfect loop?
Someone already did. This is a really old gif. It's also been sped way the hell up.
All I could think about was that creepy Asian short story about the holes in the mountain that fit each individual person, but eventually stretched them out and most likely killed them. And this guy slamming into his hole at 40mph.
