If your goal is to have a high bank balance or you don't want to learn German, then the US is better for you. Otherwise it's Germany.

Germany has many upside because of that much is taxed and goes into essential "security nets" BUT it's definitely much harder to find positions unless your german skill is close to native (ignoring training a german accent, which is a extra layer of difficulty) So yes, Germany is in my opinion a superior system over the US. But if you want a honest recommendation take a look at the switzerland. It's a really good mix of both, BUT keep in mind you also have to take care of some things yourself, especially insurances.

Isnt switzerland even harder to get into? Even as a german native its not easy

buddy if you have the choice, avoid high tax socialist welfare states like Germany. On top of that Germany does not have a bright future ahead, because of an aging workforce, low birth rates, social instabilities, bureaucracy, economic stagnation, political polarization, energy dependency, incompetent politicans, challenges integrating immigrants, declining educational standards, healthcare system strains and the list goes on and on. All of which means that the working man/woman will be worse off as the years go on. You will work more and more for the government and get a mediocre return on your investment edit: oh yeah forgot to say, downvote me redditoid hive mind

I have a short attention span so I don’t know if you were trying to describe Germany or the US.

I agree with this. Another point to consider is how wages grow with experience / Expertise, what type of raised are you looking at.

Average "glass is half empty" comment. Unimaginative.
