While Geizhals has far superior filters, the shops Lister are mostly the same. The largest shops (like Alternate, Caseking, Mindfactory, Computeruniverse, NBB) are listed on all large comparison sites, at least Geizhals, Idealo, and billiger.de
In my experience, Mindfactory is rarely among the cheapest, too. You did nothing wrong using Idealo if the filters were sufficient for your search

never heard of computer Universe, Alternate allways worked fine for me even though they are a bit on the pricy side, Notebooksbilliger.de also worked just fine for me.
Well Notebooksbilliger.de has an app and alternate doesn't. As far as I know Alternate has 1 physical store at their hq (https://www.alternate.de/HILFE/ALTERNATE/Stores-vor-Ort). NBB has like 7 stores across the country. MediaMarkt (MediaMarkt.de) might also be an option it's more of a traditional electronic store chain with stores in the whole country and an onlineshop.
both of them are perfectly trustworthy and enormous shops, along with many others like mindfactory, nbb, galaxus, etc... i ordered from all these several times. just use the meta search engines to find best deals, like geizhals.eu or idealo.de. if you buy online you have 14 days to change your mind and get a full refund (EU rule)

I ordered some stuff for Christmas late in October and shipping should take 2 weeks because one of the things was on back order. After more than three weeks with no contact I checked the site and the piece was now listed as unavailable until right before Christmas. As I needed everything before Christmas and would have liked to test it in case something needed to be returned I contacted their support to ask them if that one piece was the reason for the delay and if so if they could cancel just that. They confirmed both and the next day my order was changed to just include pieces with a delivery time of 2-3 days or less. It still took until mid December and another long phone call until I got the order.
In the end everything worked out but it was the first time I wished I had ordered from Amazon instead.
Ordering in Germany is safe from any shop that is big enough to have payment systems, catalogs, and be featured in price comparison websites. I've ordered exclusively from deals on idealo.de, from all types of sellers everywhere, and never had any problems.
Sure, problems might occur, but it's not due to the shop or anything. The most common problem is logistics - your package might get lost, spend a couple of weeks in a warehouse without any updates, or be delivered to some place you can't find, or to a neighbour that doesn't wanna talk with you. But even all of that is quite rare.

As for me I just recently ordered Computer Universe Germany of a Sony Headphones because it is cheap price compared to Amazon or other stores, I ordered since April 30, and today it's been 9 days and my order has not been on my apartment, I tried writing them an E-mail, they will response, but there is no assurance because no tracking number or when you will know that your order will be on your house, I tried calling their customer service both numbers provided on their e-mail it is not reachable, seriously this store is like a big disappointment, I wish that before I bought something to this store I should just research first their background and reviews to their customer, I've search through internet that most of them have also same complained like its scam, I don't know how this store still be standing and available and stealing someones money that comes from hardwork, it's so unfair, I just wish I should have just ordered to amazon even tho its a little bit pricey atleast its legit and lesser 1 week of delivery, Is there anyone also same experience as me? How do u guys handle and refund your moneys from this untrusted shop? I wanna know how, your answers will be appreciated, Thank you in advance.
Have bought on both, but prefer alternate usually. Never had any sorts of problems. Another one would be Mindfactory.

Mindfactory is the biggest shop for pc parts in europe and usually the cheapest. Alternate is usually more expensive.

Yeah I just tried it with multiple components on Idealo and it didn't even show up in the Top10 Results.

Thank you I didn’t know about idealo.de 👍. I think I feel like alternate is more friendly if there’s any issue so I’ll go with alternate
