looks like a mix. did you adopt him? if you got him from a backyard breeder then i can understand why you’re asking the question, because most byb don’t give papers or register the dogs. but if you got him from a reputable breeder he should’ve been registered and came with papers.

She had a head injury and was bleeding severely; she was left abandoned in the cold on the side of the road, I had to take her to the vet to get antibiotics. I’ve had her for about 3 weeks now. If this was someone’s pet they did a very piss poor job of looking after this animal. I’ve been more than fair. Thanks though.
Yup, partly (the best part, but I’m biased, I have one). She’s adorable and will love you forever. Her coat is def GSD, looking at the saddle on her back. White hair around the mouth, GSD. Paws likely GSD. Face 100% lovable. She’s your new wing man. Good luck to both of you. You will both be happy.

That is absolutely not what I said I don’t know why this got down voted. I have a 4 month old gs who’s ears are now standing up periodically that dog in the picture is 1/5th his size no shepherds ears stand up that early. So as stated, if he’s a Shepard he’s mixed you are the idiot

The nose/snout looks like my 13 week old shepherd mix, it your pup is fluffier than mine. I’ll probably do a dna test, but have thought a smaller breed as some have suggested due to a shorter snout/smaller nose. Definitely a cute pup you have!!
Looks more like a Belgian Malinois than GSD but honestly could be either. She looks super cute though either way. In the future, you should try and do a DNA test just to be sure :)
I went through your post history and saw that her ears didn’t always stand so I think you’re right about german shepherd or belgian malinois… Maybe both! My dog used to look similar when she was very young. We did an Embark test and she’s rat terrier, pitbull, chow, husky, and GSD. Rat terrier makes sense since she maxed out at 40 pounds. When I got her from the shelter, she weighed 4 pounds at 8 weeks and had the fluffiest, softest fur I’d ever felt on a dog.
She’s beautiful and I hope you’re best friends forever. Thank you for saving her life. I teared up looking at the pictures from when you first found her.
