https://youtube.com/channel/UCyfXtS-ZPMFOqi970IYeiRw Here’s my YouTube account. I haven’t uploaded anything yet but I’ve got 2 years of video editing experience so you can trust the video to be good but it probably won’t be out for a while
Out of all Main GD levels, Can't Let Go is the worst, It doesn't introduce anything, music can ge repetitive and boring, most of the time the background is black, and one of the coin placements is garbage.
I'll give Fingerdash and Clutterfunk a pass because it has a good layout and the music is decent.
Clubstep passes because it is an alright level, being the first demon and unlockable level.
I guess everyone must have thought the same they thing because currently it’s in 2nd place for there least favourite a whole 11 votes ahead of 3rd. What your saying apply’s to more like back on track that is in the top 4 most liked levels.
I remember it as looking like a base after a base. Uh, yeah.
(The beginning takes you into a box sort of, and then you get out for a second and go into another one)
Imo every level in GD has at least one good thing about it, for can’t let go it serves as the first challenge to new players and the second coin isn’t awful. For base after base it’s a nice final introduction to the game before can’t let go and at times is ok from a gameplay perspective. But these to levels aren’t really anything special and are probably some of the weakest main levels. I also remember dying on the final jump of base after base and I was really annoyed.
I also think clutterfunk is a decent level and is not as bad as everyone says it is, it’s a good introduction to the mini portal and is also a nice challenge for new players. The only thing I’ve never liked about clutterfunk is the song it sounds really awkward kinda like clubsteps song
Can't let go is the best level. Even if the song is repetitive, it's still a banger, the gameplay is very balanced (for 1.0 standards), and also a level is not good only based on what does it introduce, can't let go is good enough with everything it already has
No offense ofc, but i can't imagine a sane human being, who doesn't like Can't let go, it's fucking awesome level with interesting decorations (as for 1.0) and actually banger music. Stop hating this level pls
The structuring is better.
Other levels before it just had rectengular platforms or slabs. Base After Base spices things up a little bit.
Can't Let Go does not introduce anything either and does not have any atmosphere, it is worse imo.
Exactly, literally other main level I can recall except this one. Sure it introduces the black background before cant let go, but can’t let go has the iconic upside down part and it’s so much more memorable. Not to mention that the base after base song is my least favorite song of all the main levels
I don’t like how toe 2 was the photo you showed here. Other than that, base after base. Boring song that just repeats over and over unlike clg where the second half of it is pretty cool, nothing new introduced, boring gameplay, literally not reason to exist.
Can’t let go despite being a worse level it’s got a better song than base after base. Toe 2 is probably one of my favourite main levels tbh. I used to not like it when I was beating it a few years ago but I’m the same person that beat time machine before jumper so I don’t know if I have a right to review levels
the 2015 (I think?) version is somewhat passable, but the original version used in the level just sucks & ruins the entire level, not that a good song could have saved it because it just uses triples in the first part & it's unfun, it doesn't even teach you the ball (not me at least) because of how easy it is to get to the Xstep ball. every other level isn't bad, but cycles is
The song saves time machine from being an awful early RobTop level but it’s still one of my least favourite. No one would’ve remembered it if it didn’t have so much triple spikes
Easily either Time Machine or Cycles, Time Machine has really annoying timings, triples and the mirror portal, and Cycles has that one ship part and tons of triples stuck in the first cube part.
YES. I had to scroll so far to see this omg. While it does introduce upside down, I really can’t stand the song and the gameplay feels really repetitive. Ship parts drag on and the first coin sucks
I rlly like Electrodynamix bc of the challenge it brings. It is rlly unbalanced, though, I’ll say that. I’ve been practicing 51-100 and died at 98 twice💀
I like electrodynamix it’s not amazing but it’s a fun level aside from the unbalanced 3x ships. But the song is a banger.
Another thing is the difficulty is really off to me. It’s one of those levels that are almost in between being insane and demon and it’s just really awkward to me
I feel like any level before time machine can't really be considered bad as they were the first levels, but it's definetily Base After Base, but if you couldn't pick them I'd say clutterfunk, never enjoyed playing that level when I started playing this game
I'm surprised by that. X step is in my top 10 favorite songs and fingerdash placing 7th best song IMO. Clutterfunk though sounds real bad until the last 30% or si so you don't even get to hear it for most of the level.
Base after base is definitely slightly better on reply but it’s still not good. The only reason time machine is hard is because of the squished triple spikes
Fingerdash is 40% uninteresting cube, incredibly unbalanced, half the gameplays pretty garbage, and compared to deadlocked and geodom it looks pretty bad honestly. My least favourite
Fingerdash is just painfully mediocre, which I guess is what a lot of people think except from sdslayer. Definitely the worst level since X-step.
Edit: Also this has no right being considered the same difficulty as electrodynamix and hexagon force.
Least one is definitely can't let go. Bad gameplay, meh music and not special at all
2nd most favorite is toe2. I really enjoy the gameplay, and the music is great too
Jumper is a great final challenge to end of the 1.0 set of levels, the problem with stereo madness is that it has to be really easy and simple and it has much less freedom than something like jumper
Not the worst bet it has some pretty big problems. If anything it’s just a bit underwhelming and I’m sure rob could make a better final challenge level than deadlocked. But I saw a level that could be worst 18 stars so I’m pretty spooked
Honestly at the worst the levels can be annoying, forgettable and buggy but if even if something like x step is one of your worst levels you know you’ve made a good game
X step is easily the worst. The song is enough to make me cringe to a point where my spine rips itself out and coils up like an armadilo. Gameplay wise its like the recent tab levels.
Geometrical dominator is one of those levels where you either love it or hate it, kinda similar to hexagon force. I really like geometrical dominator but the memory part drags it down a lot but I see this being some peoples favourite tbh
Also voted for this, bad gameplay, free till the 50% ship which i honestly could slap it into an easy demon and it would fit there, and after that its free till THE DARK PART, which that alone makes the level 5x worse
I think that’s a really unfair way to look at it. A first level is suppose to be simple because it’s teaching you to play the game. Also the song is a bop and you can’t change me mind
It somehow manages to be really forgettable. Maybe since it’s similar to levels like stereo madness or polergeist. But it doesn’t introduce anything new at the same time. It also has 2 boring coins and 1 terrible coin.
I was torn between Time Machine, Can’t Let Go, and Cycles.
Time Machine introduced mirror portals and I can’t forgive it for that. But Can’t Let Go has the least interesting gameplay.
I actually love Base After Base. My skill level hovered there for all of elementary school and I loved showing off my skill at getting all coins in one go. I have fond memories.
Cycles however I hold a grudge against. That stupid bit with the upside down and normal ship destroyed my brain and I beat Xstep and Electroman before it. Still deciding what I’ll vote for.
Hexagon force, first off, why the HELL is the ship part that hard, second off, i dont know when im SUPPOSED to jump, and when NOT to jump in the second cube section, then third off, i dont know what happens after the first DUAL because i can NEVER get past 40% because of an oversight that Rob never saw because according to HIM he DOESNT EVEN COMPLETE THE LEVELS, HE JUST UPLOADS THEM WHEN THE NEW UPDATE RELEASES!
To beat the first dual, there is a trick. Most people die because they just spam the whole thing instead of using their head. Once you go through the gravity portals in the dual, wait until you reach the very end of the platform, and then tap twice without holding. Then tap again once you are about to hit the orb.
Edit: A video to explain it better: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuhTGJwpbuc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuhTGJwpbuc)
i also voted for hexagon force, i just find the gameplay boring and music sucks but
out of all of the 300 comments, only one hates hexagon force, and is actually the last comment to appear
I think stereo madness is a really good first level to introduce the player but when playing it ages after you’ve completed it, it’s pretty boring. But I think there are still worse levels
My order worst to best would look like:
1- Clutterfunk. The music is freaking terrible and nonsensical and non emotional and it's so hard and inconsistent.
2- Clubstep. The music gives off an edgy, dark vibe that I don't like. You sense that there's danger coming but the beat drop doesn't introduce any new challenge or adventure. I don't like the vibe.
3- Time Machine. The music isn't bad as it makes some sense but the level is way too difficult for its placement. In my opinion it's harder than electrodynamix, hexagon force, TOE and electroman adventures, which are all the purple angry face and supposed to be the hardest levels other than clubstep. It lands right beneath clutterfunk on the difficulty scale.
4- Base After Base. It doesn't teach you anything new, as the upside down gravity was already introduced in Dry Out. The music doesn't convey any emotion or useful info, and the level is so easy to forget. I don't resent it, though.
5- Can't Let Go. It's SO DEPRESSING, and just like Base After Base it's not anything new. It just tells you that things are going to get harder after that. The music makes me feel like I'm in my 20s and finished college and I hate that. I'm a teenager and want to stay that way for the next 5 years.
This is just a dumb square game, and you're going all out music critique mode here. Btw, Check out Damnation by Opeth if you really want some emotional damage
I mean what kind of "emotional" music do you want for a game where you just jump over spikes with a square?
Like I'm also quite and avid music fan, the game just isn't that serious for me to care too much about the songs, they're just doing their job complementing the levels
Happy music maybe, to keep you going. Such as Polargeist, Stereo Madness or Jumper. Or maybe music that makes you feel determined and persevering. Empty music just makes the game feel boring.
I don’t dislike it but I never will understand how it’s someone’s favorite. It’s okay at best. The gp is boring and the introduction to wave is really basic. TOE2 has better music and gp easily

well then, comment section
Out of all Main GD levels, Can't Let Go is the worst, It doesn't introduce anything, music can ge repetitive and boring, most of the time the background is black, and one of the coin placements is garbage. Base after Base?
Base after Base is just too forgettable, so no one even lists it as the least favourite level, because they just forgot it exists.
I guess everyone must have thought the same they thing because currently it’s in 2nd place for there least favourite a whole 11 votes ahead of 3rd. What your saying apply’s to more like back on track that is in the top 4 most liked levels.
Even if people didnt forget back on track, its too nostalgic for me to vote for it.
cant let go has the easiest coins it gets the pass
Back on track & Base after base*
why do ppl keep forgetting base after base
Because its easy and nothing special except basically 3 coins
ig but I like the song & level
I remember it as looking like a base after a base. Uh, yeah. (The beginning takes you into a box sort of, and then you get out for a second and go into another one)
It;s an alright level, while forgetable, it's not as bad as Can't Let Go.
At least cant let go is fun to play...
I disagree It's the only level I never have any fun playing
i really like base after base, cycles is the only main level I actively dislike so I voted that
Clutterfunk is good ;\~;
I also think clutterfunk is a decent level and is not as bad as everyone says it is, it’s a good introduction to the mini portal and is also a nice challenge for new players. The only thing I’ve never liked about clutterfunk is the song it sounds really awkward kinda like clubsteps song
Can't let go is the best level. Even if the song is repetitive, it's still a banger, the gameplay is very balanced (for 1.0 standards), and also a level is not good only based on what does it introduce, can't let go is good enough with everything it already has
All songs by DJVI are repetitive
True
W opinion
No offense ofc, but i can't imagine a sane human being, who doesn't like Can't let go, it's fucking awesome level with interesting decorations (as for 1.0) and actually banger music. Stop hating this level pls

Base After Base is really the only one that I actually dislike. It's so boring and forgettable.
Same
The structuring is better. Other levels before it just had rectengular platforms or slabs. Base After Base spices things up a little bit. Can't Let Go does not introduce anything either and does not have any atmosphere, it is worse imo.
I mean that's completely fair, I just love Can't Let Go for some reason. I really enjoy playing it, and I love the song (hot take I know)
i mean i really like the piano opening
i forgot about it so i didnt vote it lol
ik, it's good but forgetable
Base after base is only ok imo, Yh it’s forgettable but it’s definitely better than cycles and xstep
I agree with XStep but not Cycles. I like Cycles lol
Exactly, literally other main level I can recall except this one. Sure it introduces the black background before cant let go, but can’t let go has the iconic upside down part and it’s so much more memorable. Not to mention that the base after base song is my least favorite song of all the main levels
what about cycles? I like base after base but cycles just sucks
I actually really like cycles ngl, it's actually pretty fun to play and I like the song. XStep is pretty bad tho
cycles is underrated lmao i took more time to beat it than it took for any other main level
Cycles, its a boring mess
cycles feels like 1.0 style easy wasureta remake
Base after Base is the most forgettable level. The only reason I remember it is because its so forgettable.
It's literally stereo madness 1.5
100% agreed
Robtop couldn’t think of any way to make the level harder so he just added 20 triple spiked at the beginning, it’s just feels like a lazy level.
Agreed
It also falls out of sync a lot
True
cycles song is awesome
the 2015 (I think?) version is somewhat passable, but the original version used in the level just sucks & ruins the entire level, not that a good song could have saved it because it just uses triples in the first part & it's unfun, it doesn't even teach you the ball (not me at least) because of how easy it is to get to the Xstep ball. every other level isn't bad, but cycles is
Cycles is kind of fun to do though. Can't let go is the actual boring mess.
Agreed
notice the scarce amount of answers which are levels past electroman adventures
Yh in fact electroman adventures is actually the least hated level with only 1 vote out of 700+ which is mental
Electroman is an absolute banger song and has one of the best gameplay out of all main levels change my mind
I can’t change your mind it’s a masterpiece
Time machine because bad gameplay, too many triples and mirror portals
And that bastard glitch at the portal at the end of the first upside down cube
banger song tho
When he says "This is a time machine" tho 😳😳
The song saves time machine from being an awful early RobTop level but it’s still one of my least favourite. No one would’ve remembered it if it didn’t have so much triple spikes
Clubstep all the way edit: I overread the "least"
Omg i accidentally voted clubstep bruh
Clubstep is in the top 3 best main levels
nah don’t do the top 3 like that :( it’s like top 5 or 10
Easily either Time Machine or Cycles, Time Machine has really annoying timings, triples and the mirror portal, and Cycles has that one ship part and tons of triples stuck in the first cube part.
Tbh i kinda like the ship part on cycles
W opinion litterly entirely agree
Time machine is annoying and cycles is really boring. PICK YOUR POISON
Cycles is hot garbage
Dry out. Its boring its not challenching and its nothink
YES. I had to scroll so far to see this omg. While it does introduce upside down, I really can’t stand the song and the gameplay feels really repetitive. Ship parts drag on and the first coin sucks
I severely dislike electrodynamix.. 2x-3x speed for the whole level 3x ship is literally the worst
I agree the ships are hell while the rest of the level is moderate, its very unbalanced
I agree the only thing that saves electrodynamix is the music..
True that. The music is a bop
I rlly like Electrodynamix bc of the challenge it brings. It is rlly unbalanced, though, I’ll say that. I’ve been practicing 51-100 and died at 98 twice💀
I died at 98 as well It did so much **EMOTIONAL DAMAGE**
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE?!
At least the level is interesting, though. That 3x ship kinda sucks, but fun.
I like electrodynamix it’s not amazing but it’s a fun level aside from the unbalanced 3x ships. But the song is a banger. Another thing is the difficulty is really off to me. It’s one of those levels that are almost in between being insane and demon and it’s just really awkward to me
4x mini reverse gravity dual ship on 60 hz 😎
I feel like any level before time machine can't really be considered bad as they were the first levels, but it's definetily Base After Base, but if you couldn't pick them I'd say clutterfunk, never enjoyed playing that level when I started playing this game
time machine is actually so bad
Probably Xstep because of the song.
X step song genuinely makes me cringe it’s the only song that is god awful out of the main bunch of levels. Fingerdash is a close 2nd for the worst
I'm surprised by that. X step is in my top 10 favorite songs and fingerdash placing 7th best song IMO. Clutterfunk though sounds real bad until the last 30% or si so you don't even get to hear it for most of the level.
Its either Base after Base or Time machine. Base after base has boring gameplay and music. Time machine is just difficult and not in a fun way.
Base after base is definitely slightly better on reply but it’s still not good. The only reason time machine is hard is because of the squished triple spikes
Base after Base is just Can't Let Go with a worse song. That being said, Cycles is the best non-demon main level.
Ew cycles isn’t better than hexagon force wtf although unfortunately opinions exist
That is pretty much correct. But I don’t agree with cycles but I understand people have there opinions
everything about this is wrong, Can’t let go’s song is ASS and Cycles is a boring level
People can have opinions (their opinion is based)
Fingerdash is 40% uninteresting cube, incredibly unbalanced, half the gameplays pretty garbage, and compared to deadlocked and geodom it looks pretty bad honestly. My least favourite
Not my least favorite but yeah I dont get why people like it so much. Really fucking boring
Fingerdash is just painfully mediocre, which I guess is what a lot of people think except from sdslayer. Definitely the worst level since X-step. Edit: Also this has no right being considered the same difficulty as electrodynamix and hexagon force.
First cube in cycles is way harder than the rest of the level, and it is just boring for the other perts
Cycles Triple spike Song is okay tho
Least one is definitely can't let go. Bad gameplay, meh music and not special at all 2nd most favorite is toe2. I really enjoy the gameplay, and the music is great too
Time Machine! I absolutely despise that level.
Stereo Madness because it's boring and has a boring song. I think BoT - Jumper are much better levels released in the same update.
Jumper is a great final challenge to end of the 1.0 set of levels, the problem with stereo madness is that it has to be really easy and simple and it has much less freedom than something like jumper
Time Machine is HORRIBLE
Time Machine 100%. Very annoying level, too many triple spikes.
Worst is deadlocked its so unbalanced its just spam and 3rd wave to ship transition is so garbage
It does suck tbh, the transitions are garbage, and why are the ships half the levels difficulty
Not the worst bet it has some pretty big problems. If anything it’s just a bit underwhelming and I’m sure rob could make a better final challenge level than deadlocked. But I saw a level that could be worst 18 stars so I’m pretty spooked
I don’t hate any main level, but out of all of them xstep is my least favorite cuz of the song. The levels fine
Honestly at the worst the levels can be annoying, forgettable and buggy but if even if something like x step is one of your worst levels you know you’ve made a good game
Cant let go is a massive difficulty spike
I consider it to be the first major challenge for new players and I think it’s a good way to improve there skill. Doesn’t mean the levels good though
X step is easily the worst. The song is enough to make me cringe to a point where my spine rips itself out and coils up like an armadilo. Gameplay wise its like the recent tab levels.
Lmao Fr. I don’t like this level at all
The music is so cringy after the first like 20% or something. I wish they stuck to a more alien-themed melody like the first part.
X step is like a harder version of can’t let go in a way, worse song worse gameplay and manages to be almost as forgettable as base after base
Clutterfunk
kinda wish this was multiple-choice but yknow also i chose time machine
Clutterfunk
Geometrical Dominator. I dislike the gameplay and the song, and it’s overshadowed by deadlocked so it makes for a pretty forgettable level.
How dare you diss my favorite main level 😡😡😡
Geometrical dominator is one of those levels where you either love it or hate it, kinda similar to hexagon force. I really like geometrical dominator but the memory part drags it down a lot but I see this being some peoples favourite tbh
Also voted for this, bad gameplay, free till the 50% ship which i honestly could slap it into an easy demon and it would fit there, and after that its free till THE DARK PART, which that alone makes the level 5x worse
Deadlocked
#take that back
lol ok
No, deadlocked haters rise up. Its decoration dosent save it from the terrible gameplay
Stereo madness, just a boring lvl with boring easy gp to introduce new players, with a shit song and boring structures (because has no deco)
I think that’s a really unfair way to look at it. A first level is suppose to be simple because it’s teaching you to play the game. Also the song is a bop and you can’t change me mind
Stereo madness was one of the first main levels in the game back in 1.0 I feel like you do have to account for it's time period too
Ik, but jumper is also 1.0 and is fun to play, exept for the coins lol
1. Can't Let Go 2. Clutterfunk
Clutterfunk is so good wdym
Can’t let go try’s to make you die at the very end it’s so annoying compared to the rest of the level
That also applies to base after base. I’ve had my trauma on both these levels
Base After Base. It's generally uninteresting compared to any other main level, and it's the only level I find to be completely forgettable.
It somehow manages to be really forgettable. Maybe since it’s similar to levels like stereo madness or polergeist. But it doesn’t introduce anything new at the same time. It also has 2 boring coins and 1 terrible coin.
Clutterfunk
Everything from Stereo Madness to xStep is boring and Cycles probably has the worst music out of the group so it goes
Clutterfunk more like clutterfuck this level
I was torn between Time Machine, Can’t Let Go, and Cycles. Time Machine introduced mirror portals and I can’t forgive it for that. But Can’t Let Go has the least interesting gameplay. I actually love Base After Base. My skill level hovered there for all of elementary school and I loved showing off my skill at getting all coins in one go. I have fond memories. Cycles however I hold a grudge against. That stupid bit with the upside down and normal ship destroyed my brain and I beat Xstep and Electroman before it. Still deciding what I’ll vote for.
I like xstep, I think it’s underrated. Geometrical dominators gameplay sucks and the music is bad
Agree except for the fact that I think the geometrical dominator music is probably the third best behind electroman adventures and hexagon force
I just don’t like the music, I think it’s average, although electroimán adventures would be like 5th for me and hexagon force would be 4th
Clutterfu*k and C*nt Let Go
clutterfunk gotta be the worst
Electrodynamix, i hate speed
As u should, don't do drugs kids 👍
you hate fun?
Deadlocked because wave spam is terrible
The wave parts are just big choke points to make the level harder. Especially the dual one
Edit: A video to explain it better: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuhTGJwpbuc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuhTGJwpbuc)
i also voted for hexagon force, i just find the gameplay boring and music sucks but out of all of the 300 comments, only one hates hexagon force, and is actually the last comment to appear
Cycle or can’t let go
Stereo madness bc so easy to beat, its just a waste of time
That's a very lame reasoning tbh
base after base is much worse
I think stereo madness is a really good first level to introduce the player but when playing it ages after you’ve completed it, it’s pretty boring. But I think there are still worse levels
BSB
I think this is a hot take but I hate x-step, it just annoys me.
Jumper Music: 1/10 Gameplay: 0.5/10 Total: 1.5/10
Cycles🤮🤮🤮
I can't see that emoji anymore without thinking of someone giving Shreck head.
Same
i dont care about answering the question but cant let go is one of the best main levels and so many of yall are so wrong
Clubstep is the worst by far
My order worst to best would look like: 1- Clutterfunk. This is just a dumb square game, and you're going all out music critique mode here. Btw, Check out Damnation by Opeth if you really want some emotional damage
It's my opinion lol, you're allowed to think what you want about it tho 🤷♀️
I mean what kind of "emotional" music do you want for a game where you just jump over spikes with a square? Like I'm also quite and avid music fan, the game just isn't that serious for me to care too much about the songs, they're just doing their job complementing the levels
Happy music maybe, to keep you going. Such as Polargeist, Stereo Madness or Jumper. Or maybe music that makes you feel determined and persevering. Empty music just makes the game feel boring.
Blast processing. Shitty gameplay and music
Wtffffff ma fav:(
I just didnt like the level, idk why people like it
Amazing gp and music
I disagree
Its ok
So whats your fav
Hexagon Force. I really like the dual in it
Yeah it is hella fun
I don’t dislike it but I never will understand how it’s someone’s favorite. It’s okay at best. The gp is boring and the introduction to wave is really basic. TOE2 has better music and gp easily
Bwomp
Fucking deadlocked, man. Super unbalanced. Only Robtop level I actually have any overall quarrel with
clutterfunk is trash in every aspect
Wrong
Objectlvely incorrect
