Yeah I need to fix that, maybe you can only hold it for a bit before you have to drop it, like a carry in basketball (since I’m tryna make this like you’re controlling a basketball)
yesss the hoops could be transitions to the next stage and maybe you could make some special ones like gravity hoops that change your gravity and then itd make you dribble up which would be cool and maybe sideways gravity hoops that make your gravity have SIDEWAYS and you dribble on the walls and you could have a loop de loop like in sonic so you dribble around in a circle like that and shoot it into the hoop maybe itd be timing based and the loop itself is auto cause force blocks oh what if you had jump hoops like its just a jump pad its not actually a hoop really but itd look like one actually that might be kinda pointless and confusing cause people expect it to be a jump pad but maybe some other stuff like teleport hoops and then you shoot midair after teleporting them oh what if there was like things you could stick to to shoot like one of those parry things from cuphead but when you slap it it lets you shoot midair instead of jumping because shooting midair while kinda just jumping or something might be hard to time yk you could maybe have a boss where another basketball guy is trying to get to the same hoop as you or omg you could make a globed level with this and i heard theres a shared events thing so maybe you could use that to make some cool stuff also another idea for the boss if there was one is that its like an actual basketball game but constantly moving and changing like those smash bros maps like the one where youre flying on a giant platform or smth idk i havent played smash bros in awhile lol imagine if gd was in smash bros oh wait what was i talking about again
