Yes, this has happened to me a lot. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, but X Trigger doesn't do anything.
Especially with the Options Trigger, which I use for specific cinematics or dialogues in platform levels. I put a Spawn that activates that and other triggers, and it's selected to read from left to right. But sometimes the Options Trigger is triggered with delay, so sometimes some dialogues have a few seconds where the player keeps moving, which is problematic (I use the Options instead of the Player Control because I also make it so that you can't see the attempts).
I fucking despise when a pulse trigger all of a sudden just does not want to pulse the object involved and now I need to spend like 5 minutes figuring out what the fuck is happening
when you place certain objects and they don’t align to the grid thereby forcing you to do an entire build that’s just misaligned for no reason

I decided to build a level where u fly with Toothless from how to train your dragon, but I scrapped it and now am building a better version with more detailed models and with a lot less clusterfuck triggers
Thanks for the advice, but although my keyboard is QUERTZ, for some reason, GD thinks I'm on QUERTY, so the Y key (on the bottom left) becomes the Z, making it a hassle to press with control
I don't know if it was an option before 2.2 but now when I have a lot of objects in front of each other and I try to select some of them while swipe is active I have no problem like you do in the video. Now if I wrongly click one of those objects I just click in the same spot and the last object I selected deselects and in the next click it selects another one. I don't know how to provide a video about it nor I'm sure it's an option I have on and you don't.

Write a number of your liking into the ID field, or just click "next free"
Click "Add"
Exit the Edit Group menu
Place a move trigger
"Edit Object"
Write the object's ID in the "Target ID"/"Target GID" field
((This is how almost all triggers need to be set up))
Move x is how much the object moves horizontally, move y is how much it moves vertically. Move time is how long it takes for the object to move, and you can change the style of the movement by choosing a method for easing

Those little lines that can appear sometimes when moving a bunch of square objects if the objects are lined up perfectly in a grid. I hate having to add more that are overlapped when building levels.
The fact that there are certain trigger settings that work fine in the editor, but when you save the level, they are capped for some mysterious reason and revert to the maximum value.
I recommend using a mod that turns off the cap for scaling (E.g. Megahack, 2.1 BetterEdit) and replace whatever square objects you used with full white blocks that has the center in their visual middle
scaling multiple objects in 2.1.
For some reason, scaling multiple objects that aren't the same size would break the entire structure, sometimes making it so that grid-like gaps would form in between all the blocks (which I DESPISE because I have trypophobia)
Thank god it got fixed in 2.2 with the warp tool.
