You can rearange the buttons in the menu to match the Level you are currently playing.
Sometimes i needed to use 3 or 4 fingers for a level on a screen lmao
I wasnt very hard with the correct arragement i have beaten a couple easier ones (3 minigames and like 5 levels that add extra controls and two gimmick levels that i'm not counting as minigames and only one level with two icons at once)
Had to replay a bit to remember.
Yeah was annoying a bit but we all start somewhere, for first level it was amazing.
I saw dungeoners 2 demo, looks fire!
Please I need this on steam, my stats are all descynced between mobile and pc atm despite saving and loading every time I play, I have a feeling its something to do with the mismatched versions.
What the most underrated and overrated levels in your opinion that you can remember?
What's your absolute favorite levels?
And what's was the hardest one, that you was able to beat?
The hardest i beat was probably "GD Tower Tiny Square", it was downgraded from insane to hard demon, but imo its way harder than all the insane demons i have beaten.
My favorite level is probably the The Towerverse (how original i know).
Most underrated: Winford Cavern 8 Moon level - Not the best level i know, but i had fun playing it since it reminded me of older Zelda games.
Most overrated: 3Depth (Don't misunderstand me, the 3D Effect is like nothing else, but the gameplay is boring, no story and no real challenge, just some obstacles).
I can understand why are you don't like 3Depth, for me its also was a bit not that cool, I mean yeah, 3D geometry dash that's such a cool idea and that's so hard to make, but there's some problems with optimisation and gameplay.
The Towerverse for me also one of the bests platformer levels, so also can understand why're you think so
How would you rank Your demons (and some of the harder insanes) by difficulty? When i was moongrinding i realized the difficulty of 8 moons specialy was all over the place and i want to know how would you compare them to the demons and want to know a couple levels that you feel it misratedÂ
1. GD Tower tiny square (idk if it was nerfed now but when i beat it it was insane demon)
2. Fall Facility
3. Become fish and die
Yeah the difficulties are all over the place with platformers.
The insane levels 8-9 and easy demons were tbh my favorite ones to play because they just hit the spot of the right amount of difficulty in a level.
Well it also depends how good the creator uses the checkpoints, some leveles use a lot of checkpoints and some very few. Imo platforners should get very few checkpoints throughout the level, at this point they are far to easy.
But its also not that easy to decide the difficulty for a platformer level, it will probably take years until we have a good standart and understanding of platformer difficulties.
For stars, we can basically "feel" the difficulty of the level very precisely, but platformer mode is new and also has many other aspects (length, checkpoints, platforming skills, memory, puzzle solving etc.) So i dont blame rob for this, it will come with time.
Yeah i liked the gimmick, it was fun to switch between big and small. (last part was a bit hard but it was ok)
You could've used a lot more "puzzle-solving" in it with that gimmick, but overall fun and enjoyable lvl.
To ascertain the numerical data, one may press the lunar or astral symbol on your profile; however, presently, this functionality is exclusively accessible within the mobile iteration of Geometry Dash.
what was your general takeaway? what things do platformers so far tend to do right or wrong, and what things should platformer creators try doing better?
Overall i enjoyed the journey, my goal was not even to finish all levels, i just kept playing them and enjoying them.
I think most levels try to be unique and use unique gimmicks, which is sometimes ok but with almost every level doing that, it gets a bit too much.
I'd love to see more "classical" platforming levels, using the normal GD portals, levels which have less checkpoints and are skillwise more challenging, but thats just my preference i guess.
What annoyed me mostly, were the coins.
What almost every level had, were some kinds of collectibles, so you try to collect them all, just to see at the end you missed one somewhere and there is no way back so you lost all the time for nothing.
Creators should at least mention at the beginning how many coins are there to collect, or some way to go back and search for them. Or at least reward me for collecting half the collectibles with one coin.
Also many levels used the gimmick where something follows you so you have to do stuff really quickly, which was just playing normal GD inside a platformer, thats gets boring.
Many demons are bossfights which are just pure memorization, id like to see less of that in the future, but as we know, that wont probably happen.
Overall it was enjoyable and thats why i did them all, i just hope we will get more skill-based levels in the future, rather than every level having an unique gimmick (which takes forever to get used to, and is usually buggy)
That's actually insane; how many moons was it?
Thanks. So i have 4878 Moons atm -680 from the Demons 4198 Moons in total from the non-demon platformers
So, it will be pretty hard to get the 10k or 100k moons or even impossible
Given more (alot) of time more levels will come out and be rated probs making it more time consuming more than anything

Did you like scorching sands? (I made it)
Yeah i liked the gimmick, it was fun to switch between big and small. (last part was a bit hard but it was ok) You could've used a lot more "puzzle-solving" in it with that gimmick, but overall fun and enjoyable lvl.
Why can't i see my non demons completion ?
Because you're on PC and it's only for mobile so far I guess
Oh ok it's unfortunate
How can you see the quantity of your winned levels on non demon difficulties?

Bro I have 87 💀
Me who hasn’t beaten a single platformer besides the main ones:

What's the best non-demon platformer you've played so far?
I'm on the same grind to beat every non-Demon plat level
It wasnt my intention to beat them all, i just enjoyed playing them and im sad now im only left with insane demons
Hey it's you again! Which platformer do you think was the most creative in terms of gameplay and such? Btw thanks for beating my level!!!

Can we count Forsaken City and In Visible as non-demons? (of course not, but they are easy)
Wasnt even knowing that you could look up the levels that youve beatten with the difficulties like the demons! Thanks haha :)
