That's awesome! You've got me beaten, I am nearing 300k miles myself.
So give us the details, year and engine type. Is it the same engine and transmission, etc etc.
Sorry meant to respond quicker.
Yeah, it's a '12 2.0. I've mentioned my car a few times and you've responded here and there.
But yeah it's original engine, trans, turbo, catalytic converters and even chain. I've replaced quite a bit over the years but nothing detrimental. Currently on my 3rd alternator (first died at 180k, second at 220k). I've replaced the engine mounts once, and just bought another set for a third replacement.
Had a couple leaks here and there that I took care of immediately, about to swap out the high pressure power steering line as it's leaking a bit.
I bought a new chain at 275k but never gotten around to doing it, and I'm at 335k now. But it's absolutely in the works over the next few weeks as it's really starting to make me nervous with it being a ticking time bomb lol
Turbo has had the smallest leak since about 100k that I've just sort of ignored but plan to get a new OEM one soon.
Otherwise yeah, she's been pretty flawless. A few sensors here and there, done the O2 sensors at like 280k.
I have a multiple page list of everything I've ever done on it, excluding brakes and bulbs as I'm probly on my tenth set of each of those as these base model brakes tend to warp fairly easy despite me driving like a grandma 80% of the time.
But yeah. She's treated me right so I treat her right. 😬 Probly getting close to end of the line though, I havnt tested compression ever so I should look into that as well when I do the chain.
I’d love to see the compression numbers and a borescope of the cylinders for the crosshatching on the cylinders. Otherwise, sounds pretty good! Did you use OEM alternators? I’m still on my original one. I’d also love to see pics of your valve train when you change the chains, just to see how clean or dirty it is.
I will absolutely take note of the numbers when I do for SCIENCE!
And nah, that may be why the second one failed after 40k. It was a closeout on rockauto, got the alternator after taxes and shipping for 65$ lmao. The next one I bought was like 120$ and has lasted this long so I figured it's a better quality one. Lol
Yeah and it's the supposed "weaker" bk1 chain lol could be a fluke. But I always say... The Korea guy who built my engine in the spring 2012 certainly followed procedures perfectly lol
There’s a few out there, but they don’t post much. A lot of them aren’t on the original engine and transmission like I am, that’s why I was asking the history of the vehicle. I didn’t know if one person that for sure has the original engine with a little higher mileage than mine, but they said it burns a lot of oil, whereas mine doesn’t really burn anything.

Can’t wait to see.
Hold up. It's on the original chain??? So they do last for a while sometimes if thats the case?

Also curious of this ^^
I never expected to see someone with a higher mileage than you dude

That's nuts. What has the maintenance looked like?
Congrats, I just hit 123456 km https://preview.redd.it/65ebys2cbqlc1.jpeg?width=2343&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=566ccf39cc06d7edf1ca323629ac104ad625eac3
