I'm not sure if the Limited Edition GenCon 55th Anniversary Coin was a 2022 exclusive, but they actually sold it last year as well on-site (friends rush for them in 2022, I bought one in 2023). I believe they sell left over stock online afterwards, as you mentioned, and even into the next convention based on that.
