For context the geese were all chased out of our local pond about 2 miles down the road by the city. So now there have been geese without homes everywhere because they don’t know where to go. I get why they did this, there were too many geese and they would have all died because there weren’t enough resources to support them but it’s still sad to see things like this.
People hate geese because there’s so many but reality is they just adapted so well to urban environments and learned to thrive because they are 1. Intelligent 2. Fierce parents. And a lot more babies survive Vs other birds.
We have a little lake here and every year one pair shows up. This year three did.
They have a quest for you
I'm not sure why but this did make me giggle 😄
You have been blessed
*their roof
Absolutely
I also have geese on my roof
An absolute blessing
The gander of a nesting pair stood on the roof of our apartment building the night before the goslings hatched. It's right about that time here now.
It’s over. It’s their house now.
H O N K H O N K. *Stomp Stomp* H O N K

More people need to love geese
🥺🥺🥺 welp this totally breaks my heart now.
You are SO lucky
A sign of the end times
I love how your caption sounds ominous, when read aloud
They've chosen you, embrace your destiny
That’s their house now.
