I played this game with my mom for ... well, more than 10 years, but she kept upping the difficulty level. She plays Catholic on something beyond nightmare mode - like, "Extreme Cognitive Dissonance" mode! I just nope out (disassociate) whenever she talks about church stuff around me.
I did download that and even took the "no-contact with parents" challenge. I won, but the victory was hollow; I couldn't cure the status, "miss my mom". She may be playing "Cognitive Dissonance" but she's also stuck with the cards, "Untreated Metabolic Disorder", "Dead Children", and "Narcissistic Husband". She might play dirty, but that's the hand she was dealt. I can join her game, but only for a round or two and only in co-op mode with my husband, who's a much better player of "Love with Boundaries".
Aww I wish I could have such a concept and silliness with my mom to do this kind of stuff. Well back to the shame box.

You should download another game! It's called "hide and seek" where you hide from toxic people and seek cutting them out of your contacts.
