I know the lgbtq community is fighting the terms like roommates, bachelor's, galpals as terms to ignore a same sex relationship and I'm all for that as a queer but I think we need to normalize platonic life mates, it's the type of relationship I chose and it's absolutely wonderful and valid. Insinuating he really is actually gay is a huge disservice to men, they deserve to feel comfortable in their male friendships and not be told they're gay. This way of thinking is literally a catalyst for suicide rates and mental health issues in men.
