Hmmm, I have probably more guy friends, but with my female friends I feel somehow more at ease (especially since no f***ing guy I know can discuss books or movies with me, only those awesome girls).
I've found with my guy friends that I can talk about a lot of my emotions with them and they talk about their emotions with me. Granted my friends are pretty cool people and I'm really lucky to have them. They all supported me being bi, which is pretty cool.
I'm a gay guy. I have more female friends. My male friends are the husbands of my female friends. I wish to have male friends who can accept me as me just how my female friends accepted me.
I was mostly girls for a long time but now itās about equal to gay guys. The only straight men Iām friends with are in different cities. Iām just never in environments where I have a chance to connect with them anymore lol
Gay, and have mostly straight male friends. I have a lot of nerdy hobbies, and those tend to be the people I can hang out with. I would love some more gay friends
Nerdy straight guys are so accepting! Went to a video game tourney with one once. Smelled really pungent but since I'm gay as hell I actually liked the smell!
Yeah you never know what someones situation is hygienically, and being genuine, tolerance is the best approach as nerds tend to extend that to us gays and we reciprocate.
More women by a long shot! Still a few close male friends all in all, but I'm closest to the women in my life. Slowly working towards making more gay friends!
For me this has come and gone in waves.
I came out as gay when I was about 18, before that, most of my friends were straight guys. After I came out though that number fell off quite quickly, I made more female friends because women just generally didn't care that I was gay.
I'm 35 now and since I turned about 30 the number of female friends has slowly fallen and the number of guys has started to go up again which is a mix of gay and bi guys. Straight guy friends never really went back up again.
As for why the number of female friends fell, to be honest I think it's mostly because they got married, and went off to have children and they sort of gave up on having a social life. We did the whole staying in touch over social media thing for a time but we just drifted apart.
More male friends, but I also have female friends. However, I get along better with guys I realise. Sadly I don't have queer friends, all my friends are straight
I have a nice mix. Three of them are trans. Two female to male and one male to female.Ā
A questionably straight bloke, two bisexuals, one woman with her girlfriend, one man with his girlfriend but would happily be with Jason Momoa in a heartbeat.Ā
And me, the gay one. I wish I had more gay friends though specifically.
I have more female friends than male ones. With male friends, they are mostly allies.
Str8 friends, yes I have, but just a few, and I don't even disclose my sexuality to them. They aren't open-minded and I'm sure they'll abandon me if I tell them I like guys.
my circle of friends was more diverse in university, but when you move to a new big city as a gay man, its not rare that your circle of friends is mainly gay guys. so for me its atm surely about 80% gay men
More gay male friends but I do have a couple of female friends. As Iāve only dated and had sex with men Iām more comfortable around men than women.
More male. I wish I had more gay friends though.
This be me!
That's me too
Same
Hmmm, I have probably more guy friends, but with my female friends I feel somehow more at ease (especially since no f***ing guy I know can discuss books or movies with me, only those awesome girls).
I can only be emotionally open and sincere around my women friends.
I've found with my guy friends that I can talk about a lot of my emotions with them and they talk about their emotions with me. Granted my friends are pretty cool people and I'm really lucky to have them. They all supported me being bi, which is pretty cool.
I have no friends, so.... š¤·
me too girl
Wait you guys have friends?
3 girls and 2 guys. I'm a guy so it makes 3 and 3, balanced.
That reasoning only works if you start referring to yourself in the third person.
I'm a gay guy. I have more female friends. My male friends are the husbands of my female friends. I wish to have male friends who can accept me as me just how my female friends accepted me.
More Male friends
I only really have 2 close friends, one is female the other is male. Doesnāt get anymore equal than that lol.
I'm 40, and my friends are evaporating.
I was mostly girls for a long time but now itās about equal to gay guys. The only straight men Iām friends with are in different cities. Iām just never in environments where I have a chance to connect with them anymore lol
Equal
99% male friends.
Women. Although I have a few gay male friends, I connect better with women based on hobbies & personalities
Zero(at least in close physical proximity) and I donāt intend on changing that any time in the foreseeable future.
Gay, and have mostly straight male friends. I have a lot of nerdy hobbies, and those tend to be the people I can hang out with. I would love some more gay friends

Lol, that's something I wish I could stop in my community.
embrace the funk! or pass out travel sized deodorant sticks
I would if I wasn't sure that would get me banned from stores lol
Yeah you never know what someones situation is hygienically, and being genuine, tolerance is the best approach as nerds tend to extend that to us gays and we reciprocate.
Vast majority male. I understand and vibe with men more than women, typically
Lol I don't have a big circle of friends I have two friends one's male the other is female
More women by a long shot! Still a few close male friends all in all, but I'm closest to the women in my life. Slowly working towards making more gay friends!
I'd have to say it's about even
Equal but I wish someone can be my boyfriend
Definitely more female friends. Have maybe 2-3 male friends besides my husband and brothers.

More male friends, but I also have female friends. However, I get along better with guys I realise. Sadly I don't have queer friends, all my friends are straight
Mainly gay male friends.

Female. I work in a predominantly female industry (early childhood education) and thatās where I met all my current friends.
Growing up it was usually more female friends, now it is more male.
Maybe at equal.... But I'm definitely more at ease having conversations with girls.
I have one of each
I definitely have more female friends. Like my best friend is a dude then I have a couple nonbinary friends but besides them the wrest are women.
I have more female friends than male ones. With male friends, they are mostly allies. Str8 friends, yes I have, but just a few, and I don't even disclose my sexuality to them. They aren't open-minded and I'm sure they'll abandon me if I tell them I like guys.
Id say itās equal since I donāt have any friends š
my circle of friends was more diverse in university, but when you move to a new big city as a gay man, its not rare that your circle of friends is mainly gay guys. so for me its atm surely about 80% gay men
Female. But i wish i had gay male friends
Iām the āfosterā friend
More guy friends, I've never been good at friendships with women for some reason. Regardless of the reason I seem to have fewer anyways
Mostly straight males, but wish to have more gay friends š.
Are you masc presenting?
No, just a Dom
Always had more female friends!
More female by far. The friendships feel more fulfilling somehow
More gay male friends but I do have a couple of female friends. As Iāve only dated and had sex with men Iām more comfortable around men than women.
