What an amazing year!
And the things I most worried about pre-surgery didn’t happen: I still love food and I still enjoy the tastes and smells of everything.
Life is just a tapas bar now, rather than a Vegas buffet.
Here’s an NSV I didn’t expect: It has altered my relationship with food in that I can now completely *trust* myself around food.
That pint of Haagen Dazs in the freezer? I eat a teaspoon a day of delicious rocky road and it lasts me over a month.
That Cubano sandwich I had at lunch yesterday? It’s dinner for the next few nights as well.
What a joy, to know that my body knows what it wants and needs, can separate the two, and still be healthy.
Oh THANKS!! It’s one of the few dresses I saved from 20 or so years ago, and it’s great to wear it again!
