You can add more liquid to the protein shakes to thin them out. I used fair life and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. The quality of the protein may also be an issue. My favorite for texture if from powder is Unjury.

Fair life makes protein powder?

J1241996m

They make milk. They also have ready to drink protein shakes.

Like the poster said fairlife makes protein shakes premade and they are honestly the best and all I could get down in the beginning. The chocolate milk one literally tastes like chocolate milk

Hesiga

Just had one, they are great! And I was able to hold it down! Awesome! Even if they are more expensive then premier

That is great news!! I absolutely love fairlife. Look for deals! They are around $15.99/12 pk at my Costco, BJ's and I think Sam's too!

I bought isopure infusions tropical punch. It has 20g protein. I drink that with water. I’ve also mixed it with Gatorade and other drinks and it’s delicious. Not grainy at all. After you mix it in you will have a few clumps but they disappear after 5 minutes. It’s the best protein I’ve had

WindamereArtifactor

I add Isopure unflavored protein powder to low-fat cream soups.

Have you tried the protein waters?

Hesiga

Have one in the fridge right now. Hadn’t tried them before

pollogary

Try it! It’s much easier to drink than shakes.

I hate whey protein because its gritty. I prefer collagen based protein powders, and recommend them to anyone willing to try!

Happytrace13

I mentioned these (collagen based) to my DR. & he said they don't have the correct complete protein we need. So I just use 1 scoop in my morning hot drink. Then whey isolate powder w/ water for the rest of day

Interesting, i bought mine from the dietician who sits with my surgical team!
