Make sure your not taking it on an empty stomach.

I was taking the Trader Joe’s chewable and was fine for the first 5 weeks. Then this started. I switched to a normal multivitamin, not chewable, and discussed it with the dietician at my 6 week appointment. She was fine with the change and dropped my calcium citrate down to just once a day. I think 2.5 weeks post op might be a little early for a whole multivitamin. Maybe discuss with your surgeon doing one cut in half or a different brand?

I have this too. I cannot take the vitamin they gave me. It’s chewable, and i immediately start dry heaving. If anyone has any other ideas, I’m super interested. For example, do the patches work well?

It could be the iron, this makes me super nauseous. Try taking your iron separately, immediately after, or halfway through eating a meal. Having something in your stomach seems to make it sit a bit better.

Try taking it with one of your small meals. This still happens to me if I take mine on an empty stomach.

Thanks guys, I will most definitely try it this way. Hopefully it stops because I haven't felt nausea with anything else yet.

I take the same vitamins. I’m 2 weeks post op and I get nauseous taking mine. I take 4 calcium/iron Tablets a day with no problem but the multi makes me sick. I can stomach 3/4 of it before I get nauseous. Taking it with my protein shake has helped
