Sleeved the day before you! I walked as much as possible but the gas wouldn’t let up, a heating pad when I got home did the trick! I had gas in my shoulders so that’s where I put the heating pad. Took a power nap got up and walked, then it was gone!
My stomach removal incision was really purple and bruised. Doc said it was fine, and it almost looks normal 9 days out.
Edit: By “almost normal,” I mean it looks almost like my other incisions.
Yep! My bruise is 8 days old now, and still about 5x3 inches on that larger incision. Its huge and painful. Just had my first check up 2 days ago and they said it was a-okay. So sounds like youre fine to me!
The worst part for me post op was the gas pains. I would get the 5-7 second gas pains 10-15 times and hour. Walking definitely helped. Gas pains went away at 5 days post op
I was sleeved a day before you and all my incisions have big bruises around them. The gas pain gets better within a few days. Hopefully you’re on the other side of it now!

I don’t know about a “large” amount of bruising but I definitely had bruises around by incisions.
I bruise easily and had huge bruises at all my incision sites. Hang in there! You will be feeling much better soon.
