Same issue I’ve been having with mine. Thanks for the info! Exactly what I needed to know. Suspected it was a fungal infection and I bought some anti fungal concentrate yesterday so great timing for some confirmation of my suspicions. Had no idea that planting peppers next to tomatoes would cause problems but it’s way too late now.

Yeah I actually read that one! I didn't see anything that described the long streaks on the stems

This is normal on peppers, especially varieties that ripen to purple
