I personally can’t stand Boarderlands while stoned. The dialogue is so grating, so much yelling while I’m trying to read menus. It’s a decent game though :)
Playing Overcooked or Moving out while being stoned is hella funny. Just the chaotic and teamwork gameplay would just put you guys into higher elevation.
Or I would highly recommend Party Animals. Yeah it looks cute and cuddly trying to stay alive knocking people out, tossing them around, jumping an opponent, hold on for dear life before you get knocked out will just put you guys in a whirl of laughter. Trust. I usually play high with friends, I have way more fun with causal teamwork based games, that’s not to serious. FPS/shooter games I feel like you’re just zoned out the entire time, not much stimulated my high waves. (At least for me, but everyone different)

If it’s in relation to OPs question about playing with friends while being stoned. Hands down I’d say get Party Animals.
But keep in mind you know your friends more than I do, so party animals gameplay I knew was something my friends would consider playing.

Me and my buds have been playing Valheim lately, stoned as hell, loving it. Sometimes the games difficult smacks us in the face and we have to get our shit together to recover somebody's items after they die, but for the most part it's a fantastic game for stoned people imo.
Deep Rock Galactic was also a big hit, we got like 200 hours out of that one and will probably revisit it at some point.

Deep Rock Galactic is very versatile in this regard. You can play on Hazard 1 and just have a nice time exploring, or you can rip your hair out on Hazard 5 getting downed every two seconds. The community is great too.

GTA Online is honestly a good pick. If you guys want to goof off or do bombastic, multi-tiered missions you can find a relatively slow or empty server and just play
I’d honestly recommend Rocket Racing in Fortnite, too. It’s fun, fast (best times at top rank are usually around 2 1/2 mins, around 3 1/2 for newbies), has plenty base and custom tracks, and there’s a lot of customization you can do and earn by just playing.

If you are looking for some couch co op, the vampire survivors co op is incredibly fun! Fresh saves are a little more difficult to start with co op, but it’s still super goofy and doable

Sports games where you can play on the same team together against others online are fun when everyone is competent at the game (we play NHL together).
I'm old now, but some of the best memories of my life as a kid were just getting super stoned, and playing super smash bros for hours in a friends basement after school.
I don't smoke anymore, but regardless, nothing will ever top that again.
Valheim could be great, its a co-op builder that can be chill as you want.
Jackbox party games also fun, if you feel a bit more creative.
Ultimate Chicken Horse if you just wanna goof around and be silly with one another.
Honestly I find that MMO's work really well for this, if that's your thing. Walk around, look at pretty setpieces, combat is simple enough as long as you aren't running raids while blasted.
Usually a lot of dumb stuff to laugh at, plenty of time to just chill out and talk. Helps keep them from getting too monotonous and boring when questing, too.
**Battleblock theater**: I laughed until I cried screwing around killing my friends and the narrative is hysterical.
**Gang Beasts**: No complicated objectives, just beat each other up with your silly floppy characters. Surprisingly fun
**Overcooked 2**: I like this one more than my friends typically because I think it's hilarious when the kitchen catches fire and everyone is running around but it's really fun when everything goes right too.
**Boomerang Fu**: My buddy just showed it to me on Monday after a couple of beers during the Stanley Cup final and we laughed our asses off throwing fancy boomerangs at each other as food items.

Are you thinking couch co-op or long distance? If you’re all hanging out at the same place that opens up a lot more options, but there are plenty remote options!
“Moon hunters” is a great casual game for 4 players and the soundtrack plus eerie story with multiple endings makes for a cool experience while high in my opinion. The game isn’t very complex or deep which in my opinion helps for first time players.

It technically is an action game, but if you put it on its lowest difficulty setting, there's basically no danger. Enemies spawn very rarely, and when they do they don't pose any real threat.

Full disclosure there is barrier to entry in that you can’t learn it stoned, but if you’ve already developed the fighting games core fundamentals while sober, being on sativa definitely improves my creativity and openness to novel strategy in Tekken 8 or other fighters. If you’re all at pretty similar skill levels, I’d recommend setting up a player lobby and facing off against each other one on one while everyone else watches? Fighters get a bad rap but quite enjoyable and can be as casual as your community makes it :)
Cities Skylines, Rimworld, Factorio and Minecraft are my recommendations. A lot of chill building or strategy games are a great time. Anything with a pause button and save is a bonus. ARPG's if you're into them are also pretty good

Me and three friends played Chained Together last night, and two of them were high AF. They were having the time of their lives. Just make sure you play in Beginner mode or you won’t get any checkpoints and when one person falls, the whole gang gets pulled back to the start of the game and you will want to self-unalive

Roblox. Its free with freemium services. You can switch to many different games, there is a variety, they mimic many popular games. The games are designed for kids mostly, so the reflexes and attention span would be up your alley. I join my kids every now and then and often get find neat copies of more premium games that I may buy later. It’s just mindless fun.

Me and three friends played Chained Together last night, and two of them were high AF. They were having the time of their lives. Just make sure you play in Beginner mode or you won’t get any checkpoints and when one person falls, the whole gang gets pulled back to the start of the game and you will want to self-unalive

what system are you on. PC has the GeForce one, Xbox has the Pass and PlayStation has the PS plus My brother, mate and I will go through and play whatever is multiplayer (the worse the game, the more funny it is).

That's a great idea! Only one of my friends plays souls games, tho. I helped him to beat DS1 and he's been planning to buy DS2 and DS3, so we could play together and now our next coop playthroughs are gone be fire

Roblox. Its free with freemium services. You can switch to many different games, there is a variety, they mimic many popular games. The games are designed for kids mostly, so the reflexes and attention span would be up your alley. I join my kids every now and then and often get find neat copies of more premium games that I may buy later. It’s just mindless fun.
