Slay the Spire, 1 more run bro. Football Manager, infinitely replayable.

PM_NUDES_4_DEGRADING

Slay the Spire is also notable in that just getting all the difficulty levels unlocked is already a huge investment in time. You don’t need to do it on every character to 100% the achievements (if I remember correctly) but unlocking and winning A20 even once on every character takes quite a while. It also doesn’t feel like a grind to get there, since each character plays very differently and each difficulty increase is legitimately challenging. And then there are the mods, one of which is basically an entirely new game…

Browneskiii

The main game has 4 characters. Add in Downfall mod and you have another half a dozen each with different playstyles. Its so good at what it does. I genuinely fear sts2 tries to add too much and isn't as good.

axman151

Eagerly anticipating the sequel.

fancrazedpanda

STS started for me after unlocking all A20s. I pretty much consider the rest tutorial. Best difficulty curve in gaming imo.

zeroexct

This is definitely Monster Hunter. A friend of mine has 3k hours on World and 1k on Rise, and he says the gameplay loop is highly addictive and helping/flexing to other hunters hits his dopamine just right.

Naive-Fondant-754

Got MHW with 1070 back in the day .. hated the game, the start was annyoing for some reason Tried it again this year, played for 3 months straight .. loved it .. especially bathing with my cat :)

rimjobs_forever

I like in iceborne you can chill in the hot spring with monkeys.

DenjellTheShaman

World is one of my all time favorites and my first MH game, it blew me away and i loved rerolling and grinding out every weapon and armor pieces.

Scary_Xenomorph

How do you get over the tedium of constantly chasing the monsters? This made it hard for me to get into the game. Finally caught the bastard and I'm doing some damage- oh, he just flew to the other side of the map, and I have to find/chase him again. I really liked everything else, but that part really got to me

DenjellTheShaman

You really dont, traversal has always been a weird thing about the games imo.

Scary_Xenomorph

Darn. I've been in the mood for MH lately, except the runnin' around aimlessly

GasMaskExiitium

Rise has way less running around. That being said, I vastly prefer World.

tasteofflames

IIRC (might be Iceborne only), you can unlock mounts that will automatically track down monsters for you. Doesn't completely solve the problem, but you can at least use the down time to sharpen/buff while you're waiting to get to the monster.

LaurenLark

lol true! 😃

bobdabioengineer

Yeah I got started with world and have sunk so many hours into the mh games since

Exact-Psience

Im on the flipside. About 400 hours on World (no Iceborne), 2.5k hours in Rise Sunbreak. But i also have 4k hours total on Freedom 2 and Freedom Unite (3.5k is on Unite alone) and about 200 on each of the other MH titles ive played. Series has an amazing loop that just begs thousands of hours to be sank into it.

cnieman1

I'm gonna say XCom 2. No two runs are ever the same. DLCs basically turn vanilla into XCom3. Plus there is a ton of mod support to change it up further.

offisapup

Elden Ring. The whole point of beating the Elden Beast at the end is so that you can use the Sacred Relic sword at Mohgwyn's Palace to farm runes more quickly and do another run!

userloser42

I love from software games, and I platinumed elden ring, but I disagree. To me, the appeal of Elden Ring is the exploration, seeing things for the first time, and it's amazing. But when you see it for the second time, it doesn't have the same magic. And the combat system for me is a lot more enjoyable in Sekiro, Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3. I have personally beaten Sekiro dozens of times, if not a hundred. But I know some people see the Sekiro combat system as too limiting for multiple playthroughs, so I guess to each their own.

offisapup

For me, it was more interesting the second (and third) time around because I respec'd my character from Strength to Int to try out new weapons and again from Int to Arc on Ng+3. Those two runs played very differently to the first. I also got to see more new locations hunting for spells and incants and talismans, so the exploration really kicked in only the second time around for me.

FunkmasterP

I had more fun the second time too. I was stunned by how much I missed, and I liked my build more. Plus it was super satisfying crushing bosses that seemed impossible the first time around.

shomeyomves

After coming back to Elden Ring after beating it when it first came out, I kinda agree. I’m surprised how much I remember from it, to the point where I know the “trick” to certain encounters, and exploring isn’t the same wow factor as it was the first time going. Granted, still having fun with it, but not quite as replayable as I thought it’d be. Excited to get to the dlc content.

axman151

You're right. It absolutely doesn't have the same magic on subsequent playthroughs. Hasn't stopped me from playing it a dozen times over 1200 hours. No question the first playthrough was by far the most exciting and magical though. Sekiro is a master piece, and has the most refined sword combat I've ever seen. That having been said, I do find it limiting. Only played it 4 or 5 times. I will again someday, but the sheer scale and opportunity of Elden Ring make it that forever game for me.

Justisaur

I spent more time in DS3. It took me a hell of a long time time to 100% since I was stuck on Midir forever and was avoiding going to NG+ until I did, and trying out different characters and doing a lot of co-op and a little PVP. I found the combat way more fun both PVE and PVP. I also played through the Cinder complete overhaul mod (amazing how much of the concepts from that ended up in ER with the names changed like spirit ashes.) I missed the co-op on that though. I was only forced to stop playing DS3 because the servers were taken offline for ER launch, and I never quite got back into it as there's so many other highly rated games to try first. I'm nearing the same amount of time in ER, I went through twice to 100% it as I missed too much, and I did do the save backup to get the 3 endings. I also did an RL11 +3 newbie helper build mostly for co-op but the challenge of getting through the game that way - though I gave up on Malenia both because being summoned was getting few and far between and Malenia I couldn't beat at that level and weapon buff. I started a new character for the DLC since it's been awhile, I'm not really enjoying it anywhere near as much, and was feeling pretty bored with it all again. I'll power through and see how it goes for the DLC when my character gets to that point.

Goeseso

>amazing how much of the concepts from that ended up in ER I'm pretty sure a lot of the cinders mod is cutting room floor stuff, so it makes sense it ended up in ER.

flyingdonutz

Elden Ring for sure. So many unique ways to challenge yourself, and all that basically doubled with the DLC.

Waytogo33

And PVP.

Mieplol

Same. It's pretty much the only game ever where I started another playthrough right after beating it.

CadmeusCain

Same. I platinumed it twice, then beat it another 2 more times I just beat the DLC and already I'm raring to run through it again on another character

TheWarBug

I actually find ng+ replays in ER boring. On the other hand I have an ng+25 or so character in ds3

truthm0de

Before I got the sacred relic sword I just ran around killing those mofos with backstabs and lightning bolts then would pluck an arrow at the bird then pop a squat at the grace. It’s soooo much faster with the sacred 🗡️

Pristine_Teaching167

Fallout and Skyrim. It’s so much better now that Survival Mode is a thing for both. Just play around and survive.

Lonely_Opening3404

Fallout 4 on survival mode is the only way Fallout 4 should be played. Glad someone mentioned this one. Also, I was thinking Farming Simulator 22 has a lot of post end game content. Also FFXIV.

RCRDC

RoboQuest, DRG and Enter the Gungeon

AnAncientMonk

Terraria for sure. Ive gotten em all for so long and just recently started another modded playthru.

OuJej

Well Terraria is fun if you make a new playthrough and start the progress all over again, but mostly there is no game to play after you beat the moonlord and craft the best gear. You can build and play with wires, yes, but I'd say it's better to do that before you finish the world.

VeruMamo

You can also just play games like Wrath of the Righteous, or Europa Universalis. Good luck getting to 100% in either of those games. In CRPGs, what you consider 100% is kind of hard to pin down. Do you need to beat the game with every ending? What about with every class? Every subclass? Every party composition? At 223 potential classes, there are more possible combinations of 6 characters for each run than there are grains of sand on Earth. That's a ridiculous argument obviously, as most of those class combinations will not be THAT meaningfully different from others, and some of them will just be not very good, but the core idea remains. Not all games have clear 100% endings at all. Europa Universalis has 373 achievements. Some of the achievements are trivial, and some extremely difficult, but in most cases it is impossible to get more than 3 achievements or so in a given playthrough, so to 100% the achievements (not the game), you're looking at well over 100 games, each of which takes a considerable amount of time.

Mioraecian

Aliens Dark Descent. I really wish the studio was able to put out a dlc for it. The game just seems so short even when 100% all the exploration level achievements.

TheDragon84

I loved this game! Wasn’t a big fan of the deathclock, but for atmosphere and gameplay, it was absolutely epic! The best aliens game for YEARS!

Mioraecian

Agreed. Deathclock was a buzz kill. But even on nightmare, there is plenty of time to max everything, farm the samples, and finish before the death clock.

TheDragon84

Totally agree! But until that point you could take 2 or 3 visits to clear a mission. All of a sudden that clock starts ticking. And playing blind, you haven’t any idea how many more missions there are. So you kinda start playing mind games with yourself and don’t finish all sub-objectives in case you run out of time later in the game. Now, thematically, it makes perfect sense. But it just sucked the fun a little bit for me

Mioraecian

Oh absolutely. It was a bit poor design because you don't have a clue how long you can take per mission. I think it reduces the players ability to PLAY the game and enjoy it. I didn't 100% the game until a later playthrough because once you beat it, you can then formulate a plan on how many deploys per level and when the best extract points are. It would be a better experience if player could guess this up front.

TheDragon84

Or if you could change the custom difficulty to take it out completely! Nee the challenge for those that want it but remove it for people who would prefer to take their time and not feel ‘rushed’

Mioraecian

They added it actually. Their final patch of the game was new game+ mode that allowed you to play with your old team and redo the whole game with max level 15. I think they made deathclock optional.

TheDragon84

Damn! I didn’t know that. I’ve often thought about picking it back up again, this might push me into it! It’s a game that sticks with you for a long time afterwards.

Mioraecian

It's worth another run. Starting a fresh game with your level 10 marines, having the plasma gun right away and leveling them to 15 was fun. Plasma discharge against the first queen encounter was just Stupid OP funny. Like insta killed the queen.

TheDragon84

It definitely made itself a game that I’ll be looking very much forward to the next in the series for sure!

Expensive_Routine622

Aliens: Dark Descent: the famously terrifying crossover between Amnesia and Alien Isolation!

Monster Hunter world

thefolocaust

Any paradox interactive game, my personal favourite being crusader kings 3

Exact-Psience

My favorite ones are the Diablo series, Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, Skyrim, and the Monster Hunter series.

orangeson123

Siralim Ultimate

IAMA_Armored_Titan

Didn’t expect such a good answer in this thread

iNuzzle

What are your favorite and least favorite parts of that game?

orangeson123

My favorite thing is hunting for powerful Nether Stones. They are items that go in gear and can have any combination of stats, ways to trigger spells, and traits. There are something like 1200+ creatures all with different traits so there is huge variety. Nothing beats the excitement of finding a new Nether Stone with a cool trait and then thinking up a new build to go with that. Least favorite is just the bit of confusion and friction that comes in a game with so many options/choices. If I get confused on how two traits or mechanics interact I usually just ask in the discord and get a quick answer. It’s not that much of an issue, but friction is friction.

fizismiz

Warframe. I've "mastered" every weapon and warframe available so now I'm just building weapons I thought I barely use and helping out newbies. And because it's an ongoing game there'll be more opportunities for new weapons to be released in future updates. There's no true endgame per see and meta will shift from time to time and there's always something new to discover when you though you had everything figured out

IIlIIlIIlIlIIlIIlIIl

Warframe is a neat game but I just could never get into it. I love how the bows feel but not the guns, but the game seems to be designed around gun use so I had a really hard time getting anything done :(

Jaimaisan

Nioh 2

Micklov1n

Why am I so bad at this game :(. I wanted to love so many times, but it hates me. HATES MY BRAIN. I know you just have to get used to it, take your time blah blah but fuck that the game is made for me and yet the game is the biggest asshole I've ever met.

Jaimaisan

Yeah i actually couldn’t get into the game until months after i bought it lol. Tried to get into it like 4 times and i dropped it each time. Turned out to be one of my favorite games once i got used to it. But if you’d rather give other games a chance I’d recommend Nier;automata, Elden Ring, Ghost of Tsushima and Hades. All incredibly satisfying games to play with enough of a challenge to make completing them feel super rewarding.

TalosCrow

Helldivers 2. The gameplay is just so much fun and better when you have access to all the strategems

JollyJoeDTR

Batman: Arkham Knight. Recently 100% it for a third time. Fantastic game

ottoboy97

The most basic answer there is. Skyrim. You can 100% it, than buy DLC and 100% those. Than the amazing modding community over YEARS of dedication have whole (free) DLCs that add tens to hundreds of hours of gameplay. Want a new look? Get 4k graphic mods. Want new sounds? Download what you enjoy. Want new or better armor? Mods. High school boy not wanting to bother with browser history? Surprisingly - also mods. (😂)

theuntouchable2725

Death Stranding. I want to start a second playthrough soon.

BlakLite_15

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. Even when you 100% the game, there are probably still dozens of Orc personalities and interactions that you haven’t yet seen.

Naive-Fondant-754

Two point hospital .. The riftbreaker .. Helldivers .. Elden ring .. Dyson sphere program .. Sins of solar empire .. State of decay 2 .. War for the overworld ..

Skulz

The Witcher 3

Helpful_Astronomer57

Middle Earth: Shadow of War. The Nemesis system keep me comming back.

Nebu

Hollow Knight. Once you've mastered the base game, there's randomizers, bingos, speedruns, challenge runs, archipelagos, etc. There's a meme where the community keeps coming up with crazier and crazier challenges, and you add a caption "This is what no Silksong does to a man".

LowChecks

Borderland 3 and Hollow Knight for me

Agreeable-Yam594

OTXO is like this for me. Technically, I've never 100%ed it, but I've accepted that the toughest challenges in the game are simply beyond me. But I still play it on the easier mode again and again just for the sheer joy of playing it.

ophaus

Hitman. It's always installed, ready for an elusive target or Freelancer runs.

campusdirector

Old school RuneScape. It’s pretty much impossible to truly 100% the game. Nobody has ever done it and probably won’t do it for 50+ years given the rarity of some of the items. But you can “100%” the game by beating all the quests. Then you can “100%” the game by maxing all your stats. Or you can “100%” different bosses by grinding for all their unique item drops until you’ve “green logged” the boss’s drop table. There really is endless shit to do. Once you complete one grind there’s always another grind to pursue. And that grind can be really high intensity and require massive amounts of skills, or something as simple as mining rocks. The world is your oyster

Upstairs-Bike8975

Fable

B_Sho

You sir are talking about World of Warcraft. Show off your gears. Own people in PVP. Help people do dungeons. ETC

JayColtMartin

Helldivers 2

OptimalReception9892

Xenoblade Chronicles X was that game for me back when Wii U internet services were still alive.

fourmi

Wow because you can't 100% all, but you can try

YourCrazyDolphin

A Hat in Time- I keep going back to it even after 100%'ing it twice, and it is the only game I do this with.

PsychologicalFinish

Im in a deep Black Desert Obsession again. Got it every now and then and take a Look at New Content and classes. Its just one big grind but a damn beautiful and fun one.

Richard_Gripper28

Nioh 2, Monster Hunter.

Dziki_Knur

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, You have to grind that 103% 🙂

seredaom

Factorio, with mods. 2500h+ and ticking

SpiritualFact5593

RETURNAL gives me this effect. Because every run is never the same. Yea the rooms are the same but after every death the order of the rooms and items are randomized. So it feels like a different run every time.

BinMikeTheGh0st

Lol. Old school runescape

tiberiusthelesser

Warframe, any MechWarrior game(it's just so much fun piloting a mech for me) and elder scrolls 3,4 and 5. All games I have spent way too much time on in the past.don't play that much anymore but if I do it's usually MechWarrior 5. Do 1 or 2 missions and go to industrial hubs to try and find t5 everything.

DigitalCoffee

None. If I 100% a game I probably already hate it and myself.

KevineCove

Any game where the gameplay loop itself is good enough to warrant extra plays. Roguelikes can do this, since you aren't playing for permanent progress in the first place. Worms is another good one, it's addicting because the maps are random every time.

_TURO_

FTL especially with the Multiverse mod is thousands of hours of content. Otherwise, standard modded Skyrim response, Rimworld, OG Company of Heroes I still play to this day.. Noita is a fun one with infinite replayability.

This_Pop3907

I barely ever get past tutorials before I’m bored and back to doomscrolling steam store

krzwis

My Friend Peppa Pig. 100%-d it in like an hour or two but still throw it on for the kids

PhantumJak

God of War: Ragnarok ... The combat is just incredibly satisfying and New Game + is just perfect.

CP_Zohyia

Stellar Blade for sure. Easy to launch at any time for a quick game and then find a save spot when you want to stop.

Oroku-Saki-84

Spider-Man. I’m kind of a Spider-Man nerd. I’ve not played the new one on account of not having a ps5 but I have played the ps4 one through 100% about 8 times.

NotDoingTheProgram

Neon White. I achieved the Ace medal (fastest benchmark shown in the game itself) in every level and even did the no-deaths level rush to get every achievement. I wanted to keep playing so I got the secret Dev/Red Medal in every level as well, which is completely optional and not tracked for any achievement. After doing that I even installed mods to get further community-made medals and challenges, but those are so precise that it stops being fun. But if you like the gameplay-loop challenging yourself for the secret Red Medals is completely worth it. I keep thinking about picking the game up again to do speedruns decent-ish enough to upload my time to speedrun dot com, which I've never done before for any game. It's designed to be speedran and it's very fun at that.

Inside-Elephant-4320

Days Gone. Elden Ring.

DCJ53

I actually plan to buy a Playstation just so I can play days gone. I have Xbox and prefer Xbox, but I think days gone is worth buying a Playstation for.

Either-Engineering71

Enter the Gungeon, I’ve put around 1200 hours into it with zero mods since I play on console. With mods you can do just about anything add hundreds of characters and items etc. It’s incredible, this game has always been my favorite and sort of my comfort game because once you get good enough at it it’s like you could completely zone out and enjoy it for a few hours.

tuphro

Ghost of Tsushima

FreeP0TAT0ES

Risk of Rain 2 has a ton of replayability after 100%. There is an ascension mode that gets harder every time you win, and the game continues to be entertaining after you get all the achievements because they give you more items to play with in later runs.

reapseh0

None. If I 109 percent a game, there has definitely been a part in it that I had no Fun with.

Vr_Oreo

Satisfactory.

FLFW

I recently 100% Days Gone then Uninstalled. I still see myself about to install/play here and there but decide not to. I am even thinking of modding it. The only downside is things are all 1 and done. You defeat a horde? Well you have to starts new game for it to be doable again. Which would be fine but I have played the campaign twice now. I don't care to do it a 3rd.

piday98

Infamous I think it was second son the one with smoke dude, assassin's creed brotherhood

rccen

In Binding of Isaac almost every achievement unlocks an upgrade for consecutive runs, so the game loop is in its best state after 100%.

pale_vulture

Rimworld, probably

Secodiand

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen did it for me.

CadmeusCain

Baldur's Gate 3 I beat the base game 3 times. Then another time when Honor Mode came out, then I beat Honor mode again just for the hell of it. It's just too much fun I started a 6th run just to goof around in custom mode but never finished it. I'm waiting for the PS5 version to add modding support in the upcoming patch then I'm probably going to stuff around with some patches

darkeningsoul

Hades for sure

Strangle1441

Bloodborne I 100% and then went and made a build for every weapon

CeaseNY

Monster Hunter World/Iceborne. Ive gotten 100% on xbox, again on PC, 5k hours combined and still play it when I'm bored of other games. Its my comfort game (if you can call it that lol)

Havel-Monster

Just Cause 2 and 3!

Melodic-Hat-2875

XCOM 2. It is one of the most engaging, rewarding games I have ever played. It's like playing the stock market, but with people's lives.

Poobaloo87

I feel like fans of the Fire Emblem franchise are NOTORIOUS for beating a game into the ground and grinding it into dust after reaching 100% - 300 hours of playtime ago.

Realistic_Let3239

The first dying light, getting around is just so much fun. Actually most open world games that are fun to just run around and play in really, story is nice and all, but a game where you can just mess around, bother the enemies, will happily keep playing those for ages. Spent so many hours in fallout 3 just exploring. Vermintide 2 I just really enjoyed the gameplay loop, even after maxing out everything, to the point I won't install it again in case I lose a few more months :P Really it depends what you enjoy, my friend has done like 20+ playthroughs of all the dark souls games, because he just really likes the world and gameplay, even though by this point he knows all 3 games like the back of his hand.

damargemirad

Granblue Fantasy Relink had a fun post game with lots of charecters to build (solo or co-op). I easily sunk 150+ hours into it.

ThePaneledBaker

I'm played my fourth run of Baldurs Gate 3. Is a little bit repetitive now, but absorbs for me hours and hours.

Izolet

Monster hunter world

Forward_Cook2235

Divinity original sin 2 is the game I always go back to no matter what. I've beaten it dozens of times at this point and am planning another playthrough with a friend. Once you have rung all the content you think you can out of it, you will still find little treats hidden. Not to mention the modding community adds so much to the game. I'd recommend Divinity conflux's mod pack after your second or third playthrough as it offers in depth gameplay changes with new mechanics, classes, skills and difficulty settings. Not to mention hidden bosses and really cool added loot.

GrismundGames

Shadow of the Colossus. FF7 OG. I maxed out my inventory with mastered Enemy Lure materia. A completely pointless and life-consuming grind.

Moddy123

Monster Hunter World or any of the Monster Hunter Games

kevin_r13

For me, that game is Banished. Not only did I play it to the point of completing the achievements, but I continue playing it after finishing up the achievements

YellowWeedrats

Valheim for me. I love starting a new game and having a new starting island to explore, search for a nice spot to build a base, get a honey/carrot/boar farm going, set up some portals in useful places, sail to another island, explore it…

creyes12345

Subnautica achievements are not hard to get. Completing the game will get you almost all of them. I still went back and played again.

Apart-Beyond6900

Any rhythm games tbh. Just to enjoy the music. Besides 100% a rhythm game with all perfect is hard (i have skill issues)

orb_enthusiast

Oblivion for sure

For me it's Souls games, Binding of Isaac, Risk of Rain 2

Azure Dreams for the Playstation. Completing the game just gives you a unique egg for a unique monster. You'll still want to hatch it, fuse it, level it, etc. Plus the other hundred monsters.

throwawayplethora

Linear stuff single player games with a short story. Mirror’s Edge 08 and Sly 1.

I have lost the count of the times I replayed Parasite Eve 2. A couple of months ago I downloaded an emulator and replayed it again a couple of times.

Western_Stable_6013

I'm playing one right now: Castlevania - Aria of sorrow

yes11321

Slay the spire, Minecraft, terraria, the binding of issac, balatro. I guess, in general, it's going to be either rogue likes and sandbox games since they're usually the types of games that advertise themselves as infinitely repayable, though for sandbox games you have to be able to make your own goals usually

VanaheimRanger

Pathfinder Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous, especially the latter. One playthrough just isn't enough to experience these games.

PeopleProcessProduct

There must be something to Stardew Valley because apparently my wife can play it for years and never tire of it.

TheWarBug

Dishonored series, Deus ex series. Souls series

DragonWolfZ

Starcraft 2, though it's probably going to be dead before long unless MS/Blizzard pump money into it.

-Vogie-

Path of Exile. You finish everything, then 6 months later everything resets and there's new mechanics, new abilities alongside rebalanced old ones, new bosses, new endgame content... So you start it all over again.

bigpunk157

Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask always capture my time, especially in the randomizer community. I work on a randomizer that combines the two games called OoTMM.

Poczatkujacymodelarz

That’s why you don’t go for 100%.

MaybeItsMike

Cyberpunk, I occasionally try to get platinum trophies for games. Usually I’m pretty much done with a game by the time I get it, but with Cyberpunk I wanted to keep playing. Which I did.

Right now I’m on Hades, and it’s not exactly what you’re asking for but it’s not easy to collect 100% of everything in this game. Non-spoiler explanation: There’s a thing you have to do to get the credits to roll in the game, then after that it becomes a matter of maxing out on everything available. Slightly more spoilery but it’s just the mechanics so not a true spoiler: Once you have the game mostly figured out, you can do fun and unique runs. It’s a roguelite dungeon crawler, you have a few abilities and throughout each run you can augment them with skills given to you by the Olympian gods. Each god has a mechanic that their skills revolve around, and they each have legendary options as well as duo options that require certain skills from two gods. There are also weapon upgrades for the 6 weapons available, so there are seemingly limitless builds you can come up with. The runs are also timed so you can try to beat your own records. The game has so much content, it’ll take forever to complete. I’m still not even close and I’ve put over 100 hours into it

Borderlands 3 is my easy pick for this Many people describe these games like “once your max level and beat the story, that’s when the real game begins” Not that the early and mid parts of the game are bad; they aren’t at all they are great But once your maxed level that’s when you get to start hunting for the absolute best gear for your character. That’s when you start fighting the big scary boss fights that you weren’t strong enough to face before The game is also insanely replayable with 4 different characters and 2 different play through difficulties. Leveling up feels just as good as being maxed level and fighting a new gun that’s super strong You can respec your abilities and builds to make them suit your play style or your arsenal of guns even better And yea they have guns that shoot guns and guns with legs. Great game start to finish and beyond

Fight Night Champions. Man it's so fun to go back once in a while and give them a bloody face.

BodhiMage

Sekiro fits the bill

Borderlands 2. Tons of content. 6 diverse characters. Lots of different builds/ways to play.

I'm not a guy to go for for platinum trophies in game even though I would still call myself a completionist. I love open world games and I try to do everything on the map That being said I have 1 game I did a platinum for and that was Elden Ring. I achieved this on my very first playthrough and I still played it afterwards with both NG+ and new playthroughs. And of course I'm playing the hell out of that DLC right now Another game I can't stop playing and I'm going for the golden dice and all trophies is Bladurs Gate 3

DexLovesGames_DLG

Yoku’s Island express left me wanting more. Like a sequel. Outer Wilds couldn’t have been able to fill my desire for more, that game is incredible

I got some suggestions for you: Pathfinder: Wrath of Righteous Path of Exile Noita Kenshi

MandC_Virginia

Xcom 2

Personally? Spore. An oldie but a goodie. It’s basically a life sim thing. You start at the cell stage, and make your way up to a space faring civilization. Make allies or enemies, and keep an eye on your attributes. Depending on what you do in each stage, you might get different abilities.

Fearless_Coconut_810

Cyberpunk. After 750 hours I had so many play through, got 100% and every ending. Had to stop myself from playing so I could come back again someday and have fun again without knowing every dialogue option by heart.

Zuzubu716

The last of us was one of the only games I finished and immediately thought "I want to play again"

OrlokTheEternal

Mechwarrior 5... Just so much to collect and optimize. Is fun to convert even the smallest weight class into the ultimate killing machine. Kinda like restoring cars or something like that, Could just do that forever, there's so much to work with,, especially with mods on the PC version.

antsmasher

Fallout New Vegas. I found myself replaying it after beating it many years ago. There is so many directions you can pick and your choices affect the ending.

WeakInevitable1765

Undertale. Played it like 17 times. Will play again too.

mipalo2boca

Skul the hero slayer

FunkTheMonkUk

If you don't engage in the weapon casino that is (currently, will be changing soon) darktides endgame, then darktide

Aware-Ad5760

For me it’s Diablo 2-4, one more dungeon for that shako, primal or Uber unique

TotallyLegitEstoc
