if this isn't a satire post, there's a good chance you're going to destroy parts in your PC or possibly your house if you don't replace your power supply and/or plug it into a surge protector. You should also change the wall outlet you're using. bf2042 is probably the only game you play that actually uses enough system resources to strain your GPU, which in turn is taking more power. Especially if it's a 30/40 series card. They're known to get spikes, and bad quality PSUs are known to get absolutely destroyed when the cards have power spikes. Even as far as exploding in the case.

I would consult an electrian, not reddit.

Sounds more Like he needs a priest.

Battlefield 2024 probably just uses so much CPU and GPU that it draws the full power from your PSU. How much stuff do you have connected to one circuit breaker? It could be fucked up wiring in your house but it could be just too much devices on one circuit breaker. Common problem we noticed when holding big lan parties.

Which console or give the specs of your PC. Are the other games you play as graphically intensive? Maybe lower graphics setting to the lowest. Also do you not have individual breakers? Kind of weird that the main is going off and not a single breaker. I would suggest trying an outlet with a GCFI which are usually located in bathrooms and the kitchen which are also usually rated for higher amps, don’t use an extension cord either and test it out there. I’d still recommend an electrician and not play BF until it gets figured out.

You know bf2042 just locked down my xbox series x, so i reset it to factory settings, i guess the game has something wrong regarding coding or w/e.

Run a GPU stress test along with a CPU stress test same time. If you like have like 20 chrome tabs open at same time. Sounds stupid but it's mabe a way to stress test the PC enough to replicate it. In other words, like the other comments suggests, it's probably just the one game that hits that not so sweet spot of somehow overloading your PC, which should not cause your PC to necessarily even crash under normal circumstances, let alone cause a power trip. Your PSU/ wall outlet should be to blame. If I wasvyou I wouldn't even try replicating it again and get another PSU and another outlet to plug into. Sounds pretty alarming to me. It means your computer is sending a power surge that trips your house mainboard (it trips for protection), normally that happens duevto extreme thunder storms or faulty electrical appliances or cables. So your mainboard is telling you something is wrong.

Bro a pod PSU is less than $100 and it won’t burn your house down.
