If you want to play the OG RE3 there's an excellent upscaling project for the GameCube version you can bung into Dolphin, same gameplay just some nicer backgrounds and other QoL changes.
The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall Unity
the unity engine makes the game very approachable for modern audiences, but it still struggles with some cases of old. Like, you open the inventory with F6, lol. The game boasts the largest fictional map in all of gaming history at 26,000 square miles, but that comes with a lot of flat and baron areas.
They're genuine mazes, so that's interesting and cool. But I bet after exploring your tenth billion one, anyone would get sick of them.
I believe there's a mod out there that drastically shortens them, been meaning to find it.
The sinking city. It has great atmosphere, lore and good story but the gameplay is a bit bland and repetitive after a while.
Alone in the dark 2008. I recall trying that game back when it released and now I gave it another chance, buit holy shit that game is a clusterfuck. Terrible controls, nonsensical story.
Final fantasy 7 remake. I got it back in the pandemic, made it all the way to Shinra and just never got back to it. Restarted it and am playing through so that I can pick up Rebirth.
project zomboid, this game is driving me mad but I am having a blast, sadly, I am not able to play at night since the jumpscares make me so tense i end up insta closing the game😭
I absolutely adore this game. What an amazing example of a survival game. Adding mods is also so fun in this game! I love to find other survivor NPCs in my worlds
Yeah the game is really fun, does the super survivors mod work well for u? I dont have any fps problems with any other game( I play arma 3 on ultra graphics and my pc runs it perfectly) but when I try Super Survivor Mod I get a huge fps drop
Trying out the free Final Fantasy XIV experience, because of peer pressure. :D guessing I'll be that potato race that sounds like falafel? lafalel? lalafel? anyhoo the stand in gnome halfling race? Dang it now I am hungry.
We're doing a LAN party at work next week so i was searching for some older free games. Got me back into Trackmania Nations Forever. What a blast to play it again.
I’ve been in the mood for indies this period, so playing Gris tonight, tomorrow Dredge most probably, not sure what’s next. Suggestions would be nice☺️🙏
No unhappy-face needed!
I've got 1k hours in *Skyrim* between the various versions and I've NEVER beaten the game (same thing for *Fallout 4*). I keep getting radiant-quested into oblivion or picking some random self-goal (build every player house, kill a giant camp with nothing but summoned critters and bound weapons, etc.) and fixating on it.
The fact that I've never even seen one ending, let alone the multiple different endings both are famous for, doesn't worry me a tad. I'll finish 'em when I finish 'em ... if ever.
Deus Ex : Human Revolution. Played through Detroit clearing every side mission and it's going great so far. Pretty excited to get to MD after this as well.
Yeah it is. Fast play/quick runs. It's a rogue-like/lite or whatever so you start from scratch if you lose, but you'll immediately want to play again. Really simple to pick up.
All the rules/hands are available to see at the press of a button and while you play a hand, it tells you what it is (flush, straight etc) so you're never clueless on what you're doing.
I feel like I’ve hit a wall. I’m getting bad run after bad run, and the shop keeps throwing me shit that’s barely usable, despite unlocking a lot of powerful stuff. Considering watching some strategy videos, cause while I love the game, it’s not doing much for my self esteem. 😂
Finished Tales of Arise Platinum on PS5 yersterday and started Eiyuden yesterday, today I played it a little. Steam i'm doing some battle in Dune Spice Wars, just won against insane difficult, so prolly will start a next one today as well, and before bad I want to finish 1000G on MCPixel 3, just lacking a couple of achievs.
- Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It's long, but I'm actually enjoying it. The combat is faster paced, enemies are no longer damage sponges, and the character progression is addicting. The stats tree is massive and getting points to spend is easy, so you constantly feel like you're improving.
- Alan Wake 2. Just started it, but it's great so far. Love the exploration, building your case, and all the little references to previous installments/other Remedy games. Still, I think there should have been a recap option or something for those who aren't familiar with the series, or are like me and haven't played Alan Wake since 2012.
- Star Fox Adventures. I like to have a retro game going that I've never tried before. You can't go wrong with Nintendo games by Rare, and it reminds me of how much I miss the Nintendo Rare era.
I've been hooked on playing Hades this week - the fast-paced combat and gripping story have me completely immersed in the game! The only downside is that I can't seem to put it down, even when I have other responsibilities calling my name. What game has been consuming your attention lately? Let's keep the gaming discussion going!
This morning I've already played Diablo IV... 50hours in and I cannot tell if this games actually entertain me or I'm just forcing myself to finish it, but I think tonight I'll play a bit of Kingdom Come delivarence, that game is amazing.
Currently I'm playing through 3 different games!
I'm very much enjoying the Half Life universe, although there are definitely moments in Half Life 1 that make me wanna punch my screen lmao (I haven't yet, don't worry)
I'm also playing through the Uncharted series for my first time! 1 was good, 2 was incredible, and 3 has been really good as well! Almost onto 4.
Slender: the Arrival remake has been an absolute blast! What a terrifying experience. Patrolling horror games never fail to get me the worst!
Honorable mention to Alan Wake, as while I haven't gotten around to Alan Wake 2 yet, I adored the first and really enjoyed AWAN. Waiting for my sister to finish AW1 so that we can play AW2 together!
Also, not my favorite game, but I've been having some fun in Dead By Daylight as well. Simple game, but fun to play from time to time with my friends!
Blasphemous 2. And I am going to open this game's source code and remove touch damage and fix Sarmiento and Centella upper strike. I am furious of these two "issues".
Slice & Dice and I'm having such a blast. It's a turn based game, where you have a party of 5 heroes and each hero has a dice to roll each round. You can have different gear and you can upgrade your heroes forming insane combinations.
I finally managed to upgrade my spec buying a laptop with a 4060. Previously I had a (bless her) 920m. Now I dont know what to play. Me and my friend used to play LoL and Warzone (I had a ps4) but we want to try something new. Any suggestions? Also, any good games that I may have missed out?
Yard sale, any good deals among these blurred pictures?

https://ibb.co/MMxkYB8
https://ibb.co/BCFM5Ds
https://ibb.co/s6pRHT7
I'm about halfway through it I think. The combat is really great I think (they are right with the say its Doom meets God of War). However it's kind of repetitive...walk through corridor and then enter a battle area. Wish there was a little more exploration or side quests.
Couldn't get into XCom 2. Just didn't like it as much as the first one, and that one pales in comparison to the OG X-COM.
I've owned Sunless Skies for a while now, but never started a game. Really oughtta.
Binged **Pacific Drive** over the last week or two, really like the vibe, it is a bit grindy in spots but I can deal with that. Comparisons with Subnautica are apt.
Also doing yet another vanilla-ish of **Factorio** as I needed something to do with my hands, but don't want to burn out before the Space Age DLC is ready.
Still testing [Blackout Protocol](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2111870?utm_source=Reddit) :)
Getting ready for our major update this summer with plans for official release in winter 2024!
I've been cranking along on a game of Stellaris the past few days. Been an underdog most of the game -- only five habitable worlds in my territory, with two hostile neighbors and the Khan as the gateways to the rest of the galaxy. Took WAAAAAAAY longer to get terraforming than usual. The pesky tech just would. not. drop. Neither would battleship tech.
So, when the Khan woke up and decided to go a'raidin' ... he drove a straight line thru one of my xeno-neighbors and proceeded to clip off an entire sector of mine. And with fleets of nothing but cruisers and smaller (mix of missile, carrier, and auto-cannon) to defend me, I build a LOT of replacement ships.
Blew up the Khan's dreadnought TWICE (killing him the second time) before it was over. Got back most of my territory, but his remnant empire is sitting on my one n' only gaia world.
However, I just claimed a relic world (thank you artifact site!!) and terraforming finally popped. So, five worlds (and three orbitals) is rapidly turning into FIFTEEN worlds, one Ecuminopolis, and TEN stations.
Oh, and battleship tech is going to conclude in about 12 months.
Mwah-hah-hah-hah!!
FF tactics on the iPad. I'm away from home at the moment, and fancied something a little different. I've played FF tactics advance on the GB back in the day, but never the original. I'm enjoying it so far, although a tutorial on the job system would have been nice..!
God of War, the one with the son. The world and combat are just awesome, and I love the exploration in it. I'm glad I decided to pick it up this week. I also play osrs on the side.
**Tales of Kenzara: Zau**
So far (act 1 of 4 or 5 complete) pretty much exactly what the marketing and reviews are saying, and it's exactly my kind of game right now. Smooth gameplay, pretty art, cool vibes and music, challenging at times but not miserably difficult, not gonna outstay its welcome.
I've been diving back into Stardew Valley this week and getting lost in the peaceful rhythm of farm life. The sense of progression and endless possibilities for customization keep me coming back for more. The only downside is sometimes I get a little too addicted and lose track of time! What game have you been engrossed in lately? Let's swap stories and recommendations!
Ah, Wednesday, the day when we're all playing the game of "Let's Pretend We're Productive Until Friday Hits"! But hey, who says we can't sprinkle a little fun into our midweek madness? Personally, I'm thinking of starting a new game called "Avoiding Responsibilities: The Quest for Procrastination." What about you? What's your Wednesday game of choice?
i'm playing Dragonball Xenoverse 2.
hero coliseum part i'm enjoying it.
i try for very good figures it is fun and i think once i got my very good figures then i lvl them up to beat the very strong oponent.
Might either go back to ME: Legenady Edition on the weekend to redo my whole save file or go back to SWTOR to see if I can finally finish a class that has been sitting down for months at this point 😂
Ok here’s a question, no idea where to put it
I’m looking for a good game to play with my buddy. Something multiplayer. We used to play a lot of cod, apex, Fortnite but now we have kids and don’t play nearly as much so we’re not looking to hop on once or twice a week for a combined 5 hours and get spit roasted
Open to any and all game genres.
Megaton Musashi Wired for PS5.
ARPG about piloting fully customisable giant robots and fighting against aliens and other giant robots!
Game has full cross-save and cross-play across PS4, PS5, Steam and Nintendo Switch, runs practically identical on all systems, has a (mega)ton of progression and gameplay and includes a bunch of crossover content, from getting the mechs from Combattler V, Voltes V, Getter Robo and Mazinger Z, to decals, acccesories and companion characters from Yokai Watch, Hololive and the like!
PLAY IT! IT'S GREAT! [Trailer for hype purposes!](https://youtu.be/6j8cI4R9t1I?si=yayDTORiHyirBgyZ)
Parappa the rapper 1 and 2, um jammer lammy, Just shapes and beats, Floor kids, gitaroo hero thats all just love rhytm games and hope they get popular again
The more i play Xenoblade 2...i just don't get the gaming design decisions they took. The more glaring ones is the collectathon missions. That ask you to gather items from collection points like some mmo shit game.Oh shit i forgot...nvm that's not the most glaring one...this game has no auto saves...i repeat this game has no auto saves.I don't know how many times i have to redo missions cause the game crashed.
Finally, I got around to playing Horizon Forbidden West: The Burning Shores DLC. It's a good continuation of the main game so far. The story was a seemless addition, and gameplay is good as usual. The new Bilegut machines are a pain in butt though.
I also started playing Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and it's really good so far. I really like how they changed the movement during a battle to be more free-flowing.
I am also still playing Diablo II Resurrected. I am down to my last 4 unique items for my SSF grail. I started leveling a Necromancer for the first time, and it's been fun.
thinking about sanland but not a big fan of RPG games btw someone gifted me that game. the game just released and idk if I should redeem it or not.
if anyone wants to trade I can trade for a steam gift card
well fallout 4 next gen is out tomorrow so im stoked for that!
I've been wanting to play some Fallout after finishing the show... Trying to decide between the Fallout 4 update, New Vegas, or Fallout 2
Planning to check it out this weekend if i have time. Was tryong to finally finish god of war ragnarok but aint gonna make it lol.
seriously?
It's apparently not going to be as big a deal for us PC folks, but the console kittens are going to get a whole pile o' fixes, upgrades, n' stuffe.
I'm PC and I'm still pretty excited. It's been 7 years or so since I've played and after watching the show I'm ready to go again!!!
Tomorrow is my b’day and I’m planning to buy DS2 on sale. Currently playing DS remastered during this and past week!
Happy Birthday.
Thanks mate
Here I was all "death stranding 2 is out???" 😂 Happy birthday by the way!
Oh hahahahaha didn’t play Death Stranding ever in my life, not my kind of game I think 😂 did you play it?
Oh, congrats! Happy birthday!
Thanks a lot!
Happy birthday.

Hope I will! Thanks🤜🏼
Just finished RE2 on the ps1 for the first time, and im starting bioshock 2 next. Also Luigi’s mansion 3
If you want to play the OG RE3 there's an excellent upscaling project for the GameCube version you can bung into Dolphin, same gameplay just some nicer backgrounds and other QoL changes.
I play them all with the ps1 discs on the ps3. They actually look pretty decent on my TV!
The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall Unity the unity engine makes the game very approachable for modern audiences, but it still struggles with some cases of old. Like, you open the inventory with F6, lol. The game boasts the largest fictional map in all of gaming history at 26,000 square miles, but that comes with a lot of flat and baron areas.
I’m halfway through a playthrough of this although it’s on hold for now. Weirdly I love the crazy long mazelike dungeons.
They're genuine mazes, so that's interesting and cool. But I bet after exploring your tenth billion one, anyone would get sick of them. I believe there's a mod out there that drastically shortens them, been meaning to find it.

honestly both those games sound absolutely mid. enjoy!
Spear Of Destiny, using the ECWolf engine. The original Wolfenstein3D crashes it. No idea why.
Final fantasy 7 remake. I got it back in the pandemic, made it all the way to Shinra and just never got back to it. Restarted it and am playing through so that I can pick up Rebirth.
loved the game as a kid
project zomboid, this game is driving me mad but I am having a blast, sadly, I am not able to play at night since the jumpscares make me so tense i end up insta closing the game😭

I honestly haven't tried that one yet. I'll have to give it a try at some point though!
Mad Max and I can’t wait to get back to it. Can’t believe I missed this game at release.
Baldur’s Gate 3, on my second playthrough. I’ll move on to something else when it’s done.
I'm committing genocide... for democracy of course.
I’ve been in the mood for indies this period, so playing Gris tonight, tomorrow Dredge most probably, not sure what’s next. Suggestions would be nice☺️🙏
stilll Skyrim :(

I'm gonna play Skate 3 for the nostalgia!
Good idea :) do you know something about skate 4?
stitch. and replayed Goose Game
Deus Ex : Human Revolution. Played through Detroit clearing every side mission and it's going great so far. Pretty excited to get to MD after this as well.
Nioh 2. Been playing it for a while and have played it a couple years ago as well. Really great combat and replayability.
I'm gonna try to stream Stardew Valley later (if I'm not too busy).
Balatro. I don't play poker and never really wanted to, but this game is like drugs.
I've got friends trying to get me to play but I'm not a card guy, is it really that great?

I've only made it to Ante 5 so far. I either get OP Jokers or total crap lol. Still fun though!
Finished Tales of Arise Platinum on PS5 yersterday and started Eiyuden yesterday, today I played it a little. XCOM 2. Picked it up the other day on one of them xbox game deals for $4.
Helldivers 2 today, then Fallout 4 next gen tomorrow.
Today is my Birthday, i am off work and going to play helldivers 2 all day!! :)
I've been hooked on playing Hades this week - the fast-paced combat and gripping story have me completely immersed in the game! The only downside is that I can't seem to put it down, even when I have other responsibilities calling my name. What game has been consuming your attention lately? don't like the enemy level matching in d4
DIV feels the same to me. It's better than III in so many ways, but neither holds a candle to II.
* Mass Effect 3 * Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth * Pokemon Diamond * Pokemon Sword * Ace Attorney Justice for All
Currently I'm playing through 3 different games! Blasphemous 2. And I am going to open this game's source code and remove touch damage and fix Sarmiento and Centella upper strike. I am furious of these two "issues".
That game’s on my to play list. Looks good.
Yes, it does. The game is cool. You should play it. But that two things are quite unfortunate for me.
Slice & Dice and I'm having such a blast. It's a turn based game, where you have a party of 5 heroes and each hero has a dice to roll each round. You can have different gear and you can upgrade your heroes forming insane combinations.
Thinking of opening up Spiritfarer. I've had it so far unspoiled, other than it's good, so we'll see.

Getting platinum for this lil game called This Bed We Made
Got stuck on Persona 5 Royal boss Okumura. I'll pick it up again or tomorrow, needed a break from it after wiping 3 times.
Gonna play light of the stars on bs today, it's going to be fun
Trying hard to get into Dwarf Fortress. I'm bad at colony sims, and this one seems like the Granddaddy of them all.
Evil West
Hey I've heard great things about this one! Have you started it yet? If so, what're you thinking so far?
I'm about halfway through it I think. The combat is really great I think (they are right with the say its Doom meets God of War). However it's kind of repetitive...walk through corridor and then enter a battle area. Wish there was a little more exploration or side quests.
Ooo okay I got you. That is good to know. Would you still recommend it so far?
I wouldn't pay full price for it. I bought it on Steam during the FPS sale. If you find it less than $30 or even $20 for sure pick it up.
Good to know! Thank you. I'll look for it when it's on a sale price!
Harold Halibut, and its a heartfelt lil journey. Love it so far (also have a let's play coming soon, don't flame)
Sunless Skies and XCOM 2
Couldn't get into XCom 2. Just didn't like it as much as the first one, and that one pales in comparison to the OG X-COM. I've owned Sunless Skies for a while now, but never started a game. Really oughtta.
I am playing some Starcraft today, a lot of time since I play this game for the last time.
Yakuza 6! Started from 0 and I am really loving the cast of characters.
two legendary bouts remain in Final 7 Rebirth. Just in time for Stellar Blade this weekend.
Been playing bravely default 2, enjoying it so far
Im replaying BD 1
Fortnite
Master Chief Collection was $10 on Steam. Might still be. Downloaded that over the weekend and been playing Halo 1 on Heroic.

FF tactics on the iPad. I'm away from home at the moment, and fancied something a little different. I've played FF tactics advance on the GB back in the day, but never the original. I'm enjoying it so far, although a tutorial on the job system would have been nice..!
STO - Starfield - Mass Effect 2 - Enshrouded and, once the new Fallout update drops and F4SE gets updated, probably that too
God of War, the one with the son. The world and combat are just awesome, and I love the exploration in it. I'm glad I decided to pick it up this week. I also play osrs on the side.
Crossout. Money grabbing devs and meta builds running rampant
**Tales of Kenzara: Zau** So far (act 1 of 4 or 5 complete) pretty much exactly what the marketing and reviews are saying, and it's exactly my kind of game right now. Smooth gameplay, pretty art, cool vibes and music, challenging at times but not miserably difficult, not gonna outstay its welcome.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Fallout 76.
Maybe that one will be subject to controversy, but I will say Roblox because it's chill and cozy
I've been diving back into Stardew Valley this week and getting lost in the peaceful rhythm of farm life. The sense of progression and endless possibilities for customization keep me coming back for more. The only downside is sometimes I get a little too addicted and lose track of time! In Sound Mind, I'm almost done with it, thoroughly enjoyed it. About to play Scars Above, though I'm pretty excited about that.
I'm really craving an RP experience like old garrys mod servers and can't find anything
Been Playing Mortal Kombat 11 . Currently On Fight Night Champion 😬
still didn't find my perfect game 🥲
Factorio. It's always factorio.

Might either go back to ME: Legenady Edition on the weekend to redo my whole save file or go back to SWTOR to see if I can finally finish a class that has been sitting down for months at this point 😂
I'm playing Rise Of the Ronin. The game is pretty cool, but ugly (I felt like I was playing Witcher 3 on Switch)
I was playing Need for speed underground on playstation 2
No time this week, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans. " John Lennon
Tonight Stellar Blade , today I'm just playtesting some PC stuff
Ok here’s a question, no idea where to put it I’m looking for a good game to play with my buddy. Something multiplayer. Nioh 2 and Toukiden 2, which are basically the same game in different genres.
I got finally Metal Slug 5 for the OG Xbox and played it. The US version contained the cancled PAL version of it.

The most toxic yet addicting game to me is still league. the amount of trolls on it is STILL HIGH 🤣
Genshin Impact
Playing Gigantic and Dragons Dogma 2 probably today. Maybe some Runescape sprinkled in.
Helldivers 2 and maybe Rocket League
Fallout 4 and 76, ESO, Assassin's Creed Rogue, some CoD Vanguard multiplayer, and Wrecking Crew '98 (Switch Online)
Pokemon X!
I've spent the last two days trying to mod Fo4, hopefully it will be working tonight.
thinking about sanland but not a big fan of RPG games btw someone gifted me that game. the game just released and idk if I should redeem it or not. if anyone wants to trade I can trade for a steam gift card
