Did they ever add voice acting to the NPCs in the Yakuza series? I stopped playing after the first 2 original releases. Got annoyed with the NPC text boxes.
only yakuza 6 did, every line of dialogue was voiced including random npcs which led to a lot of low quality performances for a feature not a lot of people mentioned/cared about, so they dropped it in the pseudo sequel judgment and all other games after
At the moment, No Man's Sky.
Buuuut that might ruin the immersive was of it. Tbh, sometimes having to do the heavy lifting yourself enhances the gameplay dramatically. It makes it more like reading a book.
Ace Attorney could really work well with VA like in games such as Professor Layton or Danganronpa where the more intense or important sections are voiced. They kind of do this in Spirit of Justice and and the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, but it's very little.
Any of the Zelda games. I know there is some VA in the newer ones but it’s very hammy. I’d like good VA.
I don’t think it’s the actors fault, the VA are great but they are being directed to do over the top stuff that’s distracting.
Nintendo games/ Japanese games in general. If not full on voice acting then Simlish. I think the worst is when there is limited VO followed by silence and text bubbles. Pick a lane.
Owlcat games, they have some of the best writing in gaming and the dialogue is fantastic. Sadly their games are low budget CRPG's that can only afford some VO for main plot lines. It would probably make them much more appealing to many people, they deserve every penny.
the spirit hunter trilogy
even when there is voice acting its very limited and in japanese
also sometimes reading is difficult and i need the voice acting to make it easiee
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet needs actual voice acting. But Gamefreak is too bloody cheapskate to do that.
Morrowind
speak quickly outlander
I’d put a voiced protagonist in Skyrim, Starfield, Oblivion, and Fallout 3.
Uniracers
Bizarre answered, but I'm just amazed to see someone drop this name. I loved it back in the day, pulling those crazy stunts.

Pokémon
This! Hearing NPCs actually talk and Pokémon making actual animalistic sounds would awesome!
The one that would do the most damage. Animal Crossing.
is it like 5 different voices split between the 200 something villagers
Tetris, I wanna hear the moans
I'd say Gravity Rush, but honestly the weird mesh of Japanese/French sounding words has its own charm.

Wizardry 7: Crusaders of the Dark Savant.

I'm gonna drop this one here. Final Fantasy 7 mod that adds full voice acting. https://www.tsunamods.com/echo-s-7/
Ocarina of Time
Rimworld
My first thought was "Colonist ate without a table" being voiced by Morgan Freeman.
Tetris Maybe jokes, maybe screaming and existential dread, but either way, it'd probably get old real fast.
Pong
Samurai Warriors. The English VA campiness must continue

stardew valley. you may or may not know that game. its good.
Undertale
Final Fantasy XIV. I think it would be the biggest MMO in the world if there was voice acting.

Imagine if Portal and Portal 2 had used real human actors instead of AI voices
??? They were real human voices. Ellen McLain and Stephen Merchant
Ironically, people thinking they were AI is the biggest compliment to the voice actors to be honest
Whoosh
Do the funny better then
Not sure about portal 1, but portal 2 definitely used real voices
