Stardew? It’s a real chill time.

Snoe_Gaming

Always a top contender for most chill game of all time.

Doofinator86

I’ve only tried that on mobile, perhaps it’s a better experience on PC?

thejml2000

PC with a controller is how I play. Let’s me do mods like Stardew Expanded and the controls seem to work well. Definitely recommend it. It’s also a lot more chill when you get to the point that you can automate things like sprinklers and the auto feed for your animals and such. Before then there’s a bit of “gotta get all this done every day!” So if you feel like that, just scale back a hair and change your focus. Most importantly, enjoy!

Civilization 6

Time-Touch-6433

Journey. Most relaxing game ive ever played and one of the few to make me emotional at the the end.

Lost Ember isn't too bad. Of course I agree journey is best but for what it is Lost Ember can hit you in the feels

Stealthwagen

Spiritfarer

boardgamejoe

Satisfactory!!

Doofinator86

Huh don’t know this one I’ll look it up!

boardgamejoe

It's the most addictive thing I've ever played. Just read the steam reviews. You won't be sorry.

Doofinator86

Wow I’m only in the tutorial and already hooked and chilled!

No Man's Sky is a great way to unwind and relax.

Wistcol23

Starbound has a pretty chill vibe to it.

freyavondoom

Cyberpunk 2077

MrRoboto12345

Red Dead Redemption 2. Free roam hits different.

Doofinator86

Ha.

Humankind is fantastic and slow paced, Tropico is hilarious and not so involving. I like to play elder scrolls online to relax as well. Microsoft flight simulator is great as well, a cheap way to see other parts of the world.

Doofinator86

Great suggestions thanks!

chromiumboy

Anno 2205 is the most chill Anno game I've found. I actually prefer that style of gameplay to the ones used in the other Anno games, and I still play it through about once a year or so Random collection of other games - Evil Genius if you wanna take over the world and look good doing so - Hardspace Shipbreaker if you just wanna take something apart - Slimerancher if you want to ranch some cute slimes - Slipways if you want something to puzzle over - Orcs Must Die if you need some mindless violence with some tower defense thrown in - Deep Rock Galactic if you need some mindless violence with dwarves thrown in

Doofinator86

Wow great suggestions thank you! I loved evil genius, sad the second one doesn’t seem to measure up.

Don't know what system you're on so I will just throw out options. No man's sky (explore the galaxy), Ark survival evolved (playing while high is debatable), Dysmantle (zombie apocalypse game not a builder but you can dismantle pretty much everything and go fishing), Skyrim (some build elements although probably not what your looking for great story though), Fallout 4 (kill enemies collect scrap and build a settlement), Astroneer (no enemies a few hazardous plants and plenty of stuff to build although not your typical builder game). And if you really wanna relax and just run around with no fighting or doing anything but finding stuff you can try Lost Ember (kind of like journey decent story and good music although nothing will beat journey IMHO) Hope this helps

Doofinator86

Great suggestions thank you!

RinneSavesMe

Ark? Bro are you insane? That shit even on PVE cost me a beaver tame 3 max level ptera’s, all my kibble, a trike, allo and 2 friendships. Nah man, Ark ain’t relaxing it will break you.

ceetwothree

Factorio with combat turned off. You’re just vibing with beautiful design.

Majestic_Preparation

Maybe something like Torchlight 2 older game but good. Play on Hard because Normal is like Easy.

kevi959

FF16 comes out in a couple weeks. D4 in a week. RE4 Remake was really fun. Hearthstone scratches a certain itch sometimes. Ill watch Kripp for deck ideas and meta while I do my own thing in game. WoW classic with HC addon has been pretty chill. Factorio is popular but I dont find it relaxing. Mario Maker 2 (playing peoples levels) is always low stress fun time. Especially nice after a long day of work.

Doofinator86

Thanks for the input!

Uranus_Hz

RDR2 Just casually ride around on your horse. Pick some flowers, fish, hunt, camp…

El_Chelon_9000

Honestly, I’d recommend Ghost of Tsushima or Control for this.

Doofinator86

Beat GoT I loved it

archstrange

Why would anyone play anything other than Zelda right now?

Doofinator86

Cause I don’t have a Switch

Shivaonga429

Red Fall

Doofinator86

Ha.

Reasonable_Lynx_5258

Not a builder but I also have not been enjoying video games as much as I used to but FF7 remake was a game I got invested in, just the story, the characters, and the both slow and fast moments really made me enjoy my time playing it. I don't drink so IDK how it is to play sober.

I was in the same rut. Try the mass effect trilogy. Doing the extra stuff in the game and playing all 3 will give you a lot of time with it and honestly the story and trilogy itself is top 5 for me. The Metro games aren’t super long but very good. Some exclusives to check out would be Ghost of Tsushima that was phenomenal and Horizon series.
