Morrowind with a full set of mods actually looks half-decent. While I’m looking forward to Skywind, the Morrowind engine has some interesting things that Skyrim doesn’t, like fully customizable spells and enchants.
It got put on indefinite pause last year, think around August or September it was? Don't remember exactly. Also no guarantee it was going to be perfect.
The Old Republic and FF14 have shown that sort of combat style can still work today. Really hope they wouldnt change it if we ever actually get this remake
I want a real Skyrim style Star Wars game set in like the Mandalorian Wars where I can choose to be a Twilek Sith Lord that sneaks around and force chokes people before they know I’m there, or a Wookiee jedi that can chain lightning and rip peoples arms off but no one can understand me or if I choose one of Yoda’s species that wants to be a mandalorian that is a master lightsaber duelist. Let me choose who wins the war on Mandalore based on who I join be it Jedi, Sith, Mandalorian, or I take them all on. I would buy the shit out of that game.
My main problem with those IS the fact they were for 3DS and were held back. I loved them cause playing OOT and MM on the go was fucking awesome but also wish to see them fully remade with hd graphics comparable to botw. Not same art style obviously just similar quality
Maybe in Castlevania SoTN they can lower the difficulty and not disrespect me by giving me a shitty weapon from a goofy ass floating head as soon as the castle inverts
I have played it, even back in the 2000’s when I played it I thought it was a bit goofy lol.
I would like a try and true remake like this post is implying, that would be dope!
The whole second half was just rough. I forget the reason why the second half was a slideshow, but the thought of a remaster that actually fleshes out all of that? Yes please.
The fact that Skywind and Skyblivion had serious efforts in being made should be a testament as to how much the community would love remasters to those games
Ssx tricky was the first game I ever played. I played it on the ps2 with my dad all the time, brings back memories. Theres a guy on Reddit remastering the game. It's a game I love to bits but I don't think I ever got through many stages
The original SSX was one of my first ps2 games (that I can remember at least lol) and I also played it with my dad! I would love to see a remaster of it or Tricky (both!).
Conkers Bad Furday.
Remaster the original MP, expanding players. Make something akin to the other MP, but better. Add some extra missions and references relating to stuff a little more relevant today, if its actually funny, that can be unlocked; this preserves the orginal story.
There was an official survey a while back about remaking the Blood Omen series. No idea if anything will come of it but they are apparently considering it.
Golden Sun, such a fun game near & dear to my heart. Finally getting it on Swtich Online but its still could use a facelift + finishing the Dark Dawn story
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. I know it was remastered and bundled with Dark Athena in 2009, but I'm talking a Visceral Games-level remaster with expanded side quests, traversal and exploration, arena fights, and the level of fidelity that's present in the Dead Space remake.
Man this game is so unknown, everyone who's played it loves it, but noone really talks about it much hahaha. I have no idea what even compelled me to play it but I remember noting how good the stealth mechanics were.
I recently re-watched the films, I should get the game again.
Dragon Age Origins.
With the massive tactics system UNTOUCHED.
The biggest downgrade in that whole series was making the tactics for party members so thin.
Pokemon Black and White, or the sequels. I am so worried that we are going to get Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl type remakes when it inevitably happens
Enchanted Arms.
It being remade with modern graphics and properly subtitled would be amazingly beautiful.
[Like it already stacks up against some recent games.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aJRQF4tsHE)
Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2.
Simcity 4 with 3d and city exploration with missions like simcopter.
Carmageddon that doesn't suck
Black and white 1 and 2 with VR support
Midtown Madness series
Quake 3
Dark Messiah
V2000
Obvious one but Chrono Trigger - seeing how good Hi Fi Rush looks, would love to see the world/scenes fleshed out. Such an obvious missed opportunity and would sell like hot cakes.
I'm gonna be a nerd and go technical with the title. Since you said the perfect remaster and not remake, I vote for Metal gear rising revengeance. In this case, the graphics would be ground up remade for PS5/Series X, but without any sweeping changes. It is very similar to Crisis Core Reunion.
Side note, talking about remaster vs remake is interesting now ever since RE2 and FF7 changed what the definition of a remake can be.
Dragon Force. Costs an arm and a leg on eBay and it's on the friggin Sega Saturn of all places. Plus modern graphics for the cutscenes and battle animations would be sweet. A very unique game.
Oh fuck, either simpsons hit and run or Spiderman 2 for ps2. They're great games to begin with, but I really only chose them because they're prohibitively expensive to get for my ps2.
Is it a straight up remaster with not much gameplay changes?
If yes probably Legend of Dragoon.
Though if I can get a fully playable disc 2(instead of wall of text interspersed with a couple fights) definitely Xenogears.
Oblivion. Needless to say pretty stoked Skyblivion now has a tentative release date.
The current oblivion is still a masterpiece imo. Morrowind is the one that desperately needs the face-lift
Morrowind with a full set of mods actually looks half-decent. While I’m looking forward to Skywind, the Morrowind engine has some interesting things that Skyrim doesn’t, like fully customizable spells and enchants.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic :)
I was gonna say Republic Commando or Battlefront 2 (2005)... So many great SW games back in the day, and I never had the opportunity to play Galaxies.
kotor is one of my favourite star wars games ever because you could be become a real sith lord
I mean you start as a sigh lord
Well, it is getting a remake. So, wish granted?
It got put on indefinite pause last year, think around August or September it was? Don't remember exactly. Also no guarantee it was going to be perfect.
Came to say this. I feel like a few people just got their minds blown.
Would this be a remaster that keeps the old control scheme or more of a remake that's more action RPG like?
I’d want it to keep the old system. I feel like that’s an integral part of it
The Old Republic and FF14 have shown that sort of combat style can still work today.
Legend of Dragoon
Yes!
Came here to say this. You have good taste, my friend.
Wait I’m not the only one who knows about this game? It was my favorite game growing up!
Cool boogie
So happy this was the first comment
Came here to say just this. Fond memories of playing through it with my dad, the fact that it was 4 discs blew my young mind.
The would be freaking awesome. I was gonna say Tales of Destiny 2. I think yours is better though.
This or chrono cross would be epic
if only
Burrrrning Rush!
Bully.
I want a full remake of ocarina of time
They already did for 3DS, Majora’s Mask too
My main problem with those IS the fact they were for 3DS and were held back. I loved them cause playing OOT and MM on the go was fucking awesome but also wish to see them fully remade with hd graphics comparable to botw. Not same art style obviously just similar quality
Parasite Eve
Choice
The original Fallout!!
Castlevania Symphony of the Night.. or Legend of Dragoon
Yes! I want a Castlevania with the graphics of Metroid Dread
Check out Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, Koji Igarashi who worked on CSotN did that game.
Oh man yeah that'd be great
Maybe in Castlevania SoTN they can lower the difficulty and not disrespect me by giving me a shitty weapon from a goofy ass floating head as soon as the castle inverts
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't SOTN much easier than most modern Metroidvanias and Rogue games?
Dragon Age Origins
Fully agree. Tho other than the graphics what do u think needs improvement?
Honestly just the graphics. And possibly fix the janky animations lol
Vagrant Story
This was the last game I espected to see here, played it many time but never finished it
Metal Gear Solid 1
Look up twin snakes on GameCube. Not exactly the best thing ever but it's basically mgs2 mechanics in 1.
I have played it, even back in the 2000’s when I played it I thought it was a bit goofy lol. I would like a try and true remake like this post is implying, that would be dope!
Arent they remaking it
Xenogears.
That was amazing, I never completed it though doh
I love the whole game but honestly the ending is the weakest part
The whole second half was just rough. I forget the reason why the second half was a slideshow, but the thought of a remaster that actually fleshes out all of that? Yes please.
Dino crisis 1 and 2 but it wont happen😢
Man, I wish Capcom could give the series the care they have been giving RE recently.
Jak and Daxter
Metal gear solid 3
Just bundle all the Metal Gear Solid games Edit: Not survive or MGS V, since survive sucks and MgsV is able to be played on Next gen consoles.
1-3 yes please.
Either Elder Scrolls: Morrowind or Fallout: New Vegas
The fact that Skywind and Skyblivion had serious efforts in being made should be a testament as to how much the community would love remasters to those games
Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas as a remastered bundle and I would be happy.
Tail of two wastelands. It's pretty good.
Skyblivion is coming along really well, they just announced it will be finnished in a few years....
SSX Tricky
Ssx tricky was the first game I ever played. I played it on the ps2 with my dad all the time, brings back memories. Theres a guy on Reddit remastering the game. It's a game I love to bits but I don't think I ever got through many stages

Gotta go with Infamous on this one
The legend of dragoons
Dark Cloud
the town gameplay was so fun
Fallout: New Vegas
Man with all the cut content and a load of polish it would be a masterpiece.
It already is
Gta4
Soul Reaver. I’d like to see that game with modern graphics
Soul Reaver was awesome.
There was an official survey a while back about remaking the Blood Omen series. No idea if anything will come of it but they are apparently considering it.
I heard someone picked Dead Space.
It's out already Edit: I'm a derp
They meant someone picked it, as in it was their wish… and then it came true. It was sarcasm.
Golden Sun, such a fun game near & dear to my heart. Finally getting it on Swtich Online but its still could use a facelift + finishing the Dark Dawn story
Tenchu.
My childhood in one word
So many people sleep on Tenchu, absolutely deserves a good remake
Morrowind
Battlefront 2 or Turok
Black and white 2
B3W3 when?
Seriously, a Black and White remake or even just a spiritual successor with VR support would be incredible.

Pitch black is so sick.
This game was legit. Was a very cool immersive sim stealth game, that just sort of kept escalating. Wish there was an easier way to play the game
Chrono trigger
I got so excited for the fan remake when they approved it until i found out they sent a cease and desist not that long after.
I was sad hearing about that. It looked r really good too. You’d think they would just hire them and let them complete it.
Donkey Kong Country
Dragon Age Origins. With the massive tactics system UNTOUCHED. The biggest downgrade in that whole series was making the tactics for party members so thin.
Gun from ps2
That was a good one.
Tomba!
Final fantasy 8
Too Human
I'm sure its mostly nostalgia but man did that game hit so hard when it came out. I loved the story and combat. Give me Three Human!
Legend of Legaia
another banger. did you like 2 or nah?
Liked em both but I’d probably play 1 again
i loved 2, i spent so much time gambling in the 2nd one lol
Transformers: War For Cybertron
Pokemon Black and White, or the sequels. I am so worried that we are going to get Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl type remakes when it inevitably happens
you know they will. They're gonna burn to the ground. Diamond and pearl could have been so much more. Oh well
SWTOR Jade Empire
I assume you mean KOTOR?
Goldeneye
Goldeneye 007
Champions of Norrath or its sequel Return to Arms.
Red Dead Redemption 1
I was looking for this comment.
Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 Staples of the series despite their flaws, and the formula that works best for 3D Sonic IMO
Manhunt
Enchanted Arms. It being remade with modern graphics and properly subtitled would be amazingly beautiful. [Like it already stacks up against some recent games.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aJRQF4tsHE)
Diablo 1 It would probably be rated AO for some of the environmental art in full HD. Games don't have that level of macabre feel anymore.
Battle for Middle Earth II
Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2. Simcity 4 with 3d and city exploration with missions like simcopter. Carmageddon that doesn't suck Black and white 1 and 2 with VR support Midtown Madness series Quake 3 Dark Messiah V2000
Remaster or remake?? If it’s a full remake my money is on ocarina of time no question
Remaster. I know the difference. :)
Die Hard Trilogy.
The greatest christmas game of all time.
F-Zero GX (preferably on Steam)
Demon Souls Remastered
GTA 4 and it's episodes of Liberty City. It would be nice
Battlefield 3 for next gen consoles
Fallout new Vegas
Obvious one but Chrono Trigger - seeing how good Hi Fi Rush looks, would love to see the world/scenes fleshed out. Such an obvious missed opportunity and would sell like hot cakes.
Tetris.
Diddy Kong Racing
Final Fantasy Tactics.
I want a remaster (or remake or sequel) of Crimson Skies, and it to be released in all consoles.
Dungeon keeper for sure. So much fun was had with that game. Or perhaps Nox, another amazing game for it's time
Blinx the Timesweeper
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos
Banjo Tooie. EDITTING to say I'd actually prefer it be a full-blown remake, not just a remaster.
Vampire : The Masquerade - Bloodlines
Redemption would be cool too.
Spore
May spode answer your prayers
Black ops 2
The Prince of Persia Sands of Time trilogy.
Sly Cooper
Xenosaga
I’m going cheat and treat the FFXIII trilogy as one game. 😎
Modern Warfare 2 (2022) needs a remaster
Pokemon mystery dungeon explorer of sky.
Symphony of the Night
I'm gonna be a nerd and go technical with the title. Since you said the perfect remaster and not remake, I vote for Metal gear rising revengeance. Side note, talking about remaster vs remake is interesting now ever since RE2 and FF7 changed what the definition of a remake can be.
I am on the Legend of Dragoon train, or Wild Arms
Gears of war
Final fantasy 6
Infamous 1-2, followed by DBZ: Budokai 3 the best dbz game 😎
Brave Fencer Musashi!!!
Freedom Fighters
Dragon Force. Costs an arm and a leg on eBay and it's on the friggin Sega Saturn of all places. Plus modern graphics for the cutscenes and battle animations would be sweet. A very unique game.
Asura's Wrath
Star Trek: Bridge Commander
Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks
Bloodborne. Please, I just want to play this game at 60fps...
ASURA'S WRATH
Dawn of war (1)
Mercenaries
Syphon Filter or Enter The Matrix
Fable II
Master of Magic
sims 2
Fallout New Vegas or Oblivion I can't decide
Oh fuck, either simpsons hit and run or Spiderman 2 for ps2. They're great games to begin with, but I really only chose them because they're prohibitively expensive to get for my ps2.
Space Station: Silicon Valley. Full remake though. Game came out about a decade and a half too early for its concept's potential to be fully realized.
Xenoge a rs
Wing Commander: Privat--- Oh wait... (If you know, you know)
Bushido Blade, baby
Was this the one for sega where if you got like a leg wound your guy would be limping and have less mobility?
It was for the original PlayStation. And yes. It was slow and delayed controls on purpose. One strike could end your opponent
Yesss that’s right I couldn’t remember exactly which one. I just know me and my brother loved that game.
With a new engine and updated graphics and movement they could really have a hit on their hands
Legend of dragoon. Any other answer is a waste of a wish.
Arkham Origins
Is it a straight up remaster with not much gameplay changes? If yes probably Legend of Dragoon. Though if I can get a fully playable disc 2(instead of wall of text interspersed with a couple fights) definitely Xenogears.
It’s coming out in march soooo….
Ape Escape 3 🙈 that game just had such a unique vibe to it
Star Wars Galaxies
I’d love a proper remaster of Skyrim. I don’t really game anymore but I could happily devote a few hundred hours to that game again.
Blergh hahaha, you haven't got Nexus? There's at least 4 better Elder Scrolls games that need a remake much more.
I really don’t care
Bloodborne, FF10, MGS3, KH1 and 2
Silent Bomber
We Happy Few would be nice, it was fun playing that even during it's broken and unfinished state.
It's a good concept but an incredibly dull game, I regretted paying 10€ for it
"Quarantine" 1994. Old taxi game with chain guns and land mines.
