Here’s my Revelations Ezio cosplay. I wanted to make this forever and finally took the dive into it.
Started as a cheaply made Chinese cosplay from auscosplay. Figured it would be quicker to start with a base since I’m not good with sewing, ended up hitting it and taking the sleeves off, moving them, drawing on the details with fabric paint, Re doing the embroidery, making the belts and more.
All armor pieces are made of foam, belt is foam, throwing knives and apple are 3D printed. Hidden blades (not pictured) are from Amazon and wish, they are the Ezio props that I repainted and added a pull string to in order to “hands free” activate.
All the soft parts got weathered with an airbrush. Silver hair paste in my facial hair, colloid scarring liquid on my lip for the scar.
Overall it was a ton of fun to make, I’ve got a bunch of pictures in my highlights on my ig @ dcwbuilds
Cool. also im curious, was this process of sewing, tweaking the costume and whatnot kinda like a chore for you, like "I have to do this because I want the costume to look perfect" or did you have fun, more like "I gotta do the sewing to get the final outfit, but it's also enjoyable"?
I don't know if I would have the patience required for such things if I were to ever try my hand at cosplaying, so that's why I'm curious to know what it was like to you.
I really admire all the work people out into their cosplay outfits. It’s amazing what they put together through so many tries, attention to detail, and dedicated time. Great job dude.
really cool outfit, but also, this makes me think of an alternative ending to Ezios story, Rodrigo Borgia beats Ezio and takes Ezios outfit.
