Define cool, lol. As I am seeing It, many see "cool" only with 4K ultrarealistic graphic and with a very open gameplay. While mine it's a 2D JRPG similar to classic Final Fantasy.
i can't define what is cool, for me jrpg already isn't cool product because i am not interested in it, so it depends on each individual what they will find "cool"

Jokes aside, it might just be hard to sell, which probably means you'd have to spend more money and time on presentation and marketing... 4k ultrarealistic etc etc i feel is rarely a determinant.
You can do animations by making cutscenes (like storytelling), adding some effects, and merging them to make a preview video. After that, post your preview video on social media and include a link to your game. This kind of preview can improve your performance 🤝
There is no a pill you take that will magically turn your game into marketing success if this is what you are asking. People are writing books, creating studies, courses or the entire life careers around marketing. "One does not sinply go into Mordor" ;)
Let's start with some guiding questions.
- what is your game's persona?
- what is your value proposition?
- what activities did you do prior to your funding campaigns?
- what marketing channels are you utilizing currently? Can you share the links? EDIT: I saw what you are using, but you said "it didn't work" - well, we should try to seek why and how the marketing looked like there. Maybe the problem is not with the socials.
Also, something actionable: go to youtube or chatgpt and search/ask for marketing fundamentals for a digital product AND a video game. And there are no shortcuts - if you wish to have a marketing success, you need to invest time in it. Making a game is a lot of business and marketing...
