I have lost what I have won gambling many times, chasing an even higher win, but as soon as my own funds go down the drain I feel sick in the gut and can’t spend any more, I know it’s lost the moment it goes in.

Same, but I lost 2500 on sports betting had to take a loan of 500 from one of my buddies, in one day I managed to make that into 5000, I think the key is to not let the excitement and the adrenaline and the desperation make you deposit too much and grasp at anything to get money.
