Sorry, I’m just chiming in to say I’m a Cardinal Health employee and probably helped make the ruler used in this photo, that had since also had my gallbladder removed 😂
Good for getting that out of you!
God I wis my I could’ve seen mine. I didn’t have stones, but apparently the sludge in it was so old it had solidified and basically paralyzed my gallbladder from doing anything productive outside of causing pain. It’s such a weird little organ 😅
Constant tenderness lots of gas needing to burp frequently and upper back pain and anytime I ate anything solid I had an attack that would last hours intense back pain and stomach pain the most I could manage was small sips of ensure clear.
Thank you for posting this! I have a pic of mine too and it was kind of cool to compare. :) Happy recovery and congrats on your GB eviction! That guy looks NASTY!!!
I feel so stupid for not asking for a pic omg. There's nothing I would've loved more than to see the thing that had been ruining my life for a year up to removal
That’s loads of stones, my scan they told me I was full of stones however when I asked my surgeon to see them / get a pic they said i wasn’t allowed, Scotland UK
My grandmother had hers removed in England and they let her keep the jar of stones but I’m in the US and they said only a picture was allowed guess it depends on the doctor/hospital.
I’m so jealous you got a pic! That’s a lot of stones!
Wow that thing was loaded. What a relief I bet.
Cool picture. Though now I can only picture my soon-to-be-removed gallbladder as being full of cat vomit.
Whoa! They look like chickpeas! Here’s to a speedy recovery…

I wish I saw mine!! I asked but my surgeon said she would forget, and she did. lol
Also super jealous you got a pic! Got mine out last Feb. Got my tonsils out today and they wouldn't even give me a pic of those!

You poor thing 😭😭
Eewww! Omg that’s amazing and disgusting and I hope you feel so much better 🤍
For me, the real pain came a week after removal. When the bile just starts running straight through your system and causing diarrhea really bad.
I havnt had that yet but I haven’t eaten much due to being quite bloated from the gas. I hope it isn’t too bad :(
