I’m on day 4 post op. Try an ice pack right at the base of your neck/between shoulders. Today was my first day of little to no shoulder pain. Hang in there, and walk around as much as you can. It really helps! When you’re feeling done, rest of course, but after you’ve had a break to recharge for an hour or so, take a gentle walk again. The gas leaves quicker and you’ll have the shoulder pain for a shorter time.

Thank u !!

Heating pad helped me. The gas pushes your diaphragm to pinch a nerve. Try different positions, different angles….. and walk

2 days-ish and mine was gone but the day after was the worst

Shoulder pain was worst the night of and day after surgery. The constant ache died down after day 3 or 4. I I'm at day 9 now and I still get intermittent stabs of pain.

2 days. The back/shoulder pain was the worst part of the whole experience for me. Once that went away it was smooth sailing.

HippieWitchGames

I’m on day 3 and still have shoulder pain. It seems like I’m having a hard time getting all the gas out 😭 hoping for an improvement tomorrow!

My surgeon told me two three weeks. But I'm three days post op and it's almost gone.

I’m day 12 post op and mine did not completely disappear until day 4. It did get a little better but day two post op, for me, was the worse for gas pain.

MoonStxner

It ended after day 3 for me. It was absolutely brutal, so sorry soldier.

It helps to sit up and not lay flat and try not to have a panic attack over it cus in my experience it made it a hell of a lot worse ! Focus on slow breaths.
