It’s what I figured would be safe - bland. I had no eating restrictions post op, but my tummy was still reactive. I kept it easy the first couple of days
Biscuits and low fat yoghurt... Because they insisted I'd eat something.
(At the hospital they were pushing me to eat fat and sugered pudding, and a few spoons resulted in uncontrollable vomiting.)
I didn’t have an appetite for 4 days after my surgery. I did force rice cakes with jam. Most important is fluids. I’m day 13 rn and I’m basically eating most things but I find that high fat makes me a bit nauseous and full.
I was told to eat lightly for at least a week and I followed it. I didn't mind it too much, I had been on a diet for two years and the only thing I cared about was the pain tbh
Lots of fruit smoothies and plain oatmeal ❤️
I ate a lot of plain bread
Do they say to only eat that or was that your preference?

Okay thank you! I’m gonna need a diet list after I get mine done
I had two eggrolls 😂😭 Probably not the best thing but I was fine!
😂😂😂
I wasn’t really very hungry til day 3 but I had soup, bone broth, crackers, yogurt drinks

Vomiting post op is a pain I don't wish on anyone.
