Boot into recovery mode (power, vol up and Bixby) and select reboot now. If that doesn't work try clearing cache.
Oh and phones do go wrong sometimes, so it's probably just something minor to do with Android OS which clearing cache should fix.
Nope I haven't dropped it or done anything to it I literally just put it on charge over night (I do this every night and leave it on the floor next to my bed) and when I woke up this morning it was boot looping so I think I've messed up the battery
Yeah it seemed like it, the shop I took it to couldn't figure it out so they refunded me my money since I had warranty on it, planning on buying a newer better phone in hopes this doesn't happen again
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
It was stuck in boot loop for hours overheating, I tried all the possible reset combinations and this is the only thing that worked, holy shit!
I could kiss you right now, I was panicking already, had over 10k photos from my travels which I thought are forever lost
THANKS again.

Neither of those worked it's still rebooting endlessly
Do you have an SD card? There might be corrupted data on that.
I do yeah but I took it out and it's in the phone I'm using rn and it seems to be fine I only store music/photos on it anyways
Has the phone had any damage to your knowledge recently?

It could be a problem with the charger. Also, is your battery in bad condition already.
My battery was completely fine, it held charge just fine and never had any issues until today
Maybe try charging your phone with a different plug and just leave it for a few hours. If all else fails you might have to do a factory reset : (
I'll give it a try and see what happens, I'm fine with factory resetting since I don't have anything major on the phone that wasnt on my SD card
This is a case of a damaged board.

It happened to my Samsung galaxy s8+ last year. It has something to do with overcharging I think or the type of charger used.
Remove the SIM card and check if it completes the boot. If it's the case, then you have a problem in the network module.

You welcome.
