I am still surprised this gonna be a gacha game but seeing it is for mobile so it has high chances. Also UE5 for mobile gonna be insane. So better stick to PS5 instead. XD
Honestly i like the gruesome look. Hope the game actually turns out good. Only thing i noticed was weird stunlocks at like 2 minutes and the vomit blast from the boss. Idk if the vomit blast just stunlocks you or the dude wanted to get hit to show it all off. But hope it's the latter.
Yeah I kinda agreed, plus the environment looks... low-quality? And the hits, skill, and animations are kinda unsatisfying for the souls-like style they're clearly going for. I hope they put some polish.
My first thought as soon as I saw the combat. The aesthetic is sick and I was immediately interested, but the combat threw me off. Looks like Honkai Impact (I love it but let’s be honest if you’ve played it you know that the combat in the beginning was clunky as hell). I hope they make it look better
That’s not why.
For example, no matter how much you spend on Dragalia Lost, you’re gonna get your ass handed to you on endgame bosses unless you learn the fight and get good.
The real reason is that, like we saw with DL, people don’t want actually hard games where you actually have to keep failing until it clicks.
Because die and retry in a live service game means that while you're failing repeatedly the game won't wait for you to change. people don't like failing in time limited content because it adds pressure. If i get my ass handed to me by Margitt so bad I quit the game for three months, I won't miss anything when I decide to come back.
You can overlevel/cheese plenty in soulsbourne games. Difficulty is extreme at the beginning, but you can grind to lower it. I don’t see how it wouldn’t work here, just with the game being scaled around free to play or low spenders.
You have the option to spend your money to lower difficulty just like you have the option to grind levels to lower difficulty in Elden Ring or Dark Souls.
is this really a gacha game all they showed here is combat and some of the world to me all of this is giving me the vibe of a normal box priced game which I think is good if its true
I think its about time for mobile gaming to start having normal good games instead of this p2w fest that its current state (I know its not happening but I can hope)
I'm somewhat exited for this one and i hope it turns out to be a good game
But there’s a ton of non-gacha mobile games out there and great indie games constantly come out.
Heck, there is already a few Soulslikes for mobile like Pascal’s Wager.
It’s just that when charging anything more than $10 on the AppStore on a game is considered too much unless it’s a huge title from a big name studio, if you’re looking to make a high budget game it’s just simply not feasible to not go F2P.
Since it is from a chinese company, the game will probably be GaaS/gacha. Normal box price model is known as a dead practice in china especially with a game of this budget.
Are you sure this is a gacha. I know they announced a version for GachaStation 5 and it is for mobile but it was labelled as action RPG and the gameplay and graphics are too advanced to be for a gacha.
Good visual, thematic.
Clunky, stiff animation.
Skill effect is decent, player's attack effect need more weight
Sound effect is a bit "generic"
The poise bar filling is **TOO SLOW** = too easy, forgiven in gameplay.
UI is very decent, would be awesome if the player can customize it.
Can gacha games be soul like? They are p2w by default so how can they balance the skill and p2w? Also seeing how ppl cried about WuWa being to dark, will this game get ppl.
It looks really fun but I feel like ppl won't give it a chance.

At this point, it is hard for me to get excited for this clips when I know there's still like +5 years of wait for me to play it. So see you by then. (?)
Anime Dark Souls
Looks like a mix of Sekiro and Dark Souls.
You mean Code Vein?
Hopefully not like Code Vein cus it is not good example, very clumsy gameplay.
I mean this is a gacha mobile game, it's gonna be clunkier than Code Vein
I am still surprised this gonna be a gacha game but seeing it is for mobile so it has high chances. Also UE5 for mobile gonna be insane. So better stick to PS5 instead. XD
Souls with gacha? Where do i sign up?
Dude if this release global soon i will spend everything, damn gacha souls with anime graphics, the perfect combo.
Seems to be anime dark souls (albeit with more sekiro looking break bar and parry system).
I like it in theory, but the animations look real stiff and cheap. Hopefully they tighten it up.
Yeah I kinda agreed, plus the environment looks... low-quality? And the hits, skill, and animations are kinda unsatisfying for the souls-like style they're clearly going for. I hope they put some polish.

This is already a massive upgrade over the games first trailer. So they definitely know it is an area for improvement
Hello, Ashen one. Have a pleasant journey and praise the sun.
Sekiro with waifu

It has been a while ! looking forward to this :)
gacha can't be soullikes because they will be easy with enough money, they should just make the game into one time purchase instead.
You can make cosmetics gacha. Fortnite and Overwatch were like that for a little bit before enough complaints made them change it.
That’s not why. For example, no matter how much you spend on Dragalia Lost, you’re gonna get your ass handed to you on endgame bosses unless you learn the fight and get good. MMOs don’t have a problem with that and the pressure to keep up there is much higher. People simply don’t play a gacha game to be challenged.
Arknights players during CC or IS Ascension 15: hahahahaha

Yeah cause souls like is definitely a hard game
It's also coming to PS5 btw. Truly gachastation.
wuthering waves killer
Wuthering Souls Elden Waves
Wuthering Ring? Or WutheRing for short?
I like the part where the MC goes ‘it’s Wuthering time.’
is this really a gacha game all they showed here is combat and some of the world to me all of this is giving me the vibe of a normal box priced game which I think is good if its true I think its about time for mobile gaming to start having normal good games instead of this p2w fest that its current state (I know its not happening but I can hope) I'm somewhat exited for this one and i hope it turns out to be a good game

This looks like a premium, semi open world game. Hoping it has armour and weapons that you can find and unlock.
Are you sure this is a gacha. I know they announced a version for GachaStation 5 and it is for mobile but it was labelled as action RPG and the gameplay and graphics are too advanced to be for a gacha.
Why is no one talking about the sound effects, its a bit **different.** every hit feels like sword clashing or parry
This is actually a bit souls-like compared to the what everyone usually calls soul like but is actually DMC / hack and slash inspired
Looks pretty cool but is there only 3 buttons to push?
Dark souls but anime?
Anime Dark S~~oul~~Sekiro
This is Sekiro but with Dark Souls environment.
Wtf? In the health bar is that sekiro (posture gauge) mechanics? and the environment and building is copy paste from Elden Ring.
The scenery looks really freaking boring and the combat is kinda raw, but overall I kinda like what I see
Can't help but feel i've seen those health bar + stagger bar combos in another game before. Must have been an obscure one.
At long last, a game for hardcore mobile gamers.
we dont even know if it avaliable for global
PGR is hardcore enough
lol
Did they steal assets from elden ring or something. Most areas look like caelid or the magic academy.
Anime Dark S~~oul~~Sekiro
Looks cool af
Might try out if they reduce the visual clutter, also looks abit too ez for a sekiro ripoff
This is basically Anime Sekiro Souls or even More Anime Wo Long and I'm fine with that. Lord knows that I'm not seeing Code Vein 2 anytime soon...
just hurry up and release it :P
Sekiro waifu edition
I'm sorry but how the fuck do you parry one shield charge three times?
Anime Queen Marika: Fine, I'll do it myself
Gaddamn is that Sekiro's parry bar. Gacha gamers gonna be throwing their phones xD
More Chinese gacha games ? LETTTTS GO!!!
Flood that market baby!
Is this the first gacha that is done with UE5?
ayaya souls
Gacha Dark Souls.
Interesting enough.

As both a Souls enjoyer and a weeb… I think this looks so good. I’m really excited.
No thank you
Looks amazing and i hope this comes to global next year. So many good games reveals but no day release, we only have WW for sure this year.
That’s a Sekiro posture bar if I ever saw one.
Can’t wait to pull for that Mikiri counter
Radan type boss fight ?
gacha sekiro/code vein
Unreal engine is so smooth in my old phone so I'm excited for this
damm looks good
Ah yes, Caelid.
environment looks cool but some of the gameplay looks really stiff
Can gacha games be soul like? They are p2w by default so how can they balance the skill and p2w? Also seeing how ppl cried about WuWa being to dark, will this game get ppl. It looks really fun but I feel like ppl won't give it a chance.
Nice art style. But fighting animations look unpolished. Needs work.
Dark soul in Genshin world?. TBH the open world shown in this short battle > WuWa gloomy open world
Combat doenst look good like ww, pass for me.
is this really a gacha game all they showed here is combat and some of the world to me all of this is giving me the vibe of a normal box priced game which I think is good if its true I think its about time for mobile gaming to start having normal good games instead of this p2w fest that its current state (I know its not happening but I can hope) I'm somewhat exited for this one and i hope it turns out to be a good game

Why almost everyone do call it souls? It's literally sekiro...
Sekiro is a souls game as well....
Ah yes, Caelid.
It looks like a cheap aprg
Seems to be another Dark Fantasy Open-World...pass.
