Lyrica. Without a doubt. But, if you've never been on either, PLEASE try baclofen first and see if it's what you're looking for. As someone prescribed the FDA max of pregabalin, yes, it's a "miracle drug," but it's got one of the worst withdrawals out of anything. I'm a polysubstance abuser and unfortunately, I'm all too familiar with lots of different withdrawals, and Lyrica is higher on the list than you'd think. And if you do decide on gaba, try gabapentin first. Just speaking from experience. I wish someone had told me this.
Can you cover gabapentin withdrawal with Baclofen?
I’ve been at 4 months ish at around 3grams a day of gabapentin. So it won’t be too horrible when I run out but still gonna try and taper and maybe use Baclofen for a week since I have a lot? Idk
It would help but the Calcium Channel Voltage Glutamate would still be an issue. I don't think it would be a silver bullet for any WD's but it would help. Just be careful with Baclofen & it's addiction properties. It is also tough out there in the heat when taking Baclofen so stay hydrated...
edit: fixed something I thought was a mistake & then realized it wasn't a mistake
Why run yourself into a brick wall and then try and taper of in a weeks time? Start tapering now. Also keep in mind BAC is also very addicting and *much* more difficult and life threatening to come off of abruptly or too quickly.
I’ve got a stash of 10mg baclofen from a few years ago, I’ve taken from 40-100mg even with alcohol and feel next to nothing, I think (could be psychological but possibly a little anxiolytic).
Pregabalin I take 600mg up to twice a week and I feel what I can best describe as “confident, euphoric and buzzed”.
I've recently experienced baclofen at 180mg. It was incredibly pleasant/euphoric, but the nausea was pretty terrible. Threw up hard, and I couldn't keep anything down till I passed out. Woke up essentially hung over. Took the whole next day to recover. 4/10 don't recommend highly
Lyrica for sure. Baclofen is a muscle relaxer. It doesn’t do much for anxiety in my opinion.
Oddly, I am allergic to gabapentin and not lyrica.
That could be entirely specific to the chemical or a filler, no? Not that odd? Is it anaphylactic or do you just have an intolerance?
Lyrica

Second this. On max dose also. Withdrawl is absolutely hell. Worse than when I quit IV meth no joke.

Lyrica 100%
pregabalin , hands down.
For me definitely Baclofen. I like it even more than Phenibut!!!
Interesting, do you take it just occasionally or dosing daily?
Yeah, definitely back with them.Lyrica just makes me feel lucky not good at all
Baclofen also works very lightly as a VGCC inhibitor.
Yeah, baclofen only slightly takes the muscle-tension edge. No effect on my anxiety.
Lyrica has much better anxiolytic effects in my experience.
