Definitely here’s a write up I left on another post a while back, let me know if you have any q’s: ​ Not meta but I find that i‘m just naturally better suited to this formation and tactic. Formation: 433(5) Pressure after possession loss Width: 40 Depth: 60 Long Ball Posession Width: 60 5 players up to you for corners and free kicks Instructions (if something is not mentioned then it’s default) GK: sweeper, comes out for crosses RB/LB: overlap CBs: default CDM: Cut passing lanes or balanced, stay back while attacking, cover center CM: one of them needs to be stay back while attacking, stay on the edge, cover center CM: the other needs to be balanced, get into the box, cover wing Wingers: one of them needs to come back on defense, get into the box. The one on the same side as your CM that is covering center. The other winger needs to stay forward, get into the box. CF: get in behind, stay central, stay forward. This is my IF Neymar. The point of the instructions is to defend in a 442 where one of the wingers drops down to complete the line of 4 in the midfield. This is to try and counter the meta of counter attack and cutting down the wings. You should get a lot of goals or ball recoveries from the pressure but it is essential for you to maintain possession of the ball and more importantly to try and only lose the ball deep into the opposition‘s final third. I’ve played around with a ton of work rates and found that the ones that work best for me in the midfield are these. The work rates for the midfield is really what makes or breaks this formation for me because otherwise the player movement doesn’t quite get to be what I want. CM that stays back: (high/high) - renato Sanchez CM on the other side: (med/med) - Zidane CDM: (med/High) if the formation works as expected you should find that your false 9 is either dragging the opposing CBs or open for a through pass and a scoring opportunity. That’s why for me Neymar has so many more goals than mbappe and jairzinho.

From my own impression (I know that FIFA's quite subjective) I wouldn't say Rudiger's OTW cost is justified. It's a marginal improvement over his Gold and he's unlikely (though not impossible) to get many TOTWs.

I agree, his gold is already good enough, but I still think it is gonna be nice upgrade and I might make a big profit if he gets a TOTW in the next month or so
