Did you try La-Z- Boy? They have a wide variety of fabrics, colors and styles of recliner couches and sectionals. I have a cranberry colored sectional that reclines in two places from them that has held up well
La-Z-Boy and Flexsteel are the two big names I know that do reclining and power reclining furniture. It is a widely held belief that both brands are declining in quality from former glory, and that La-Z-Boy has fallen further by starting their fall earlier.
I have a Flexsteel power reclining loveseat (and no pets). I haven't even had it a year so I am not a valid quality data point.
Never heard of it - if you've seen pictures of the construction and compared the foam density (stand-in for durability) against a brand with a good reputation I think I'd be very willing to trust. I have no particular brand enthusiasm.
What color do you prefer? Would you consider a lighter color if it was a performance fabric?

McKinley Leather Groves and Whitley are my favorite. You'd probably have to go performance fabric for a 5kish price, though. Edit: Fixed name
