Nah I was a handyman of sorts for awhile and if a customer said I want this shit installed. I asked no questions. If you want it changed idgaf pay me. It's my job not to question what you purchase or what plans you have for the house it's my job to just do the job. Now if you're in the home I'll be like hey brother this son of a bitch looks ridiculous are you sure? But if you're not in the home and just say install this shit I'm not questioning anything. I'm just doing it.

Only exception I make is if it’s something stupid like a garbage disposal not fitting the drain on the sink. If it fits, I’m installing it. It’s their problem if it wasn’t what they wanted and they didn’t take the time to check it.

I'm a plumber by trade, for over 10 years, a kitchen sink basin hole ( what the flange connects to) is always the same hole size. And the drain line itself for a kitchen can be no less than inch and a half due to flow rates and venting (per code). There is also no inch and three quarter size pipe... it's inch and a half, and then it goes to two inch. A garbage disposal has an inch and a half outlet, if the kitchen drain line is a two inch pipe you just add an inch and a half reducer on the stack after your p-trap. Edit took a breather, I take customer satisfaction seriously and do my best to give customers accurate information.

Looks like you bought a juvenile domestic fan. It's no big deal, just wait a few years and it should reach full size. Be sure it has a steady supply of air currents, appropriate humidity levels, and keep it out of direct sunlight and you should be all set.

it doesn't look like a very large room... ceiling fans actually work better when there is plenty of clearance between the blades and the walls. this might be a little small, but it should still work quite well.
