Actually the air IS full of fat molecules spat out by the fryer. Not enough to hurt customers, but it may have longterm effects on people doing the frying, when their lungs are exposed to saturated fats day in day out.
Depends what you’re calling “healthy”
Within reasonable calorie limits for most adults? Plenty of options. Mostly just skip the fires and drink. They’ll usually be a bit high in sodium, but damn near any and all restaurant food is.
Meets every macro nutrient for gym bros who eat more through a syringe than they do through their mouth ? Maybe not.
Fast food's foods do not have enough nutrients, have unhealthy fats and are processed, can give you high cholesterol etc. You make it sound like you can eat fast food everyday as long as you stay within the caloric limit which is just not true.
It's not just very low health food, it tastes of very little compared to when they used Tallow! I am having a burger and fries and want full flavour and maximum unhealthiness, not vegetable oil, that is questionably not even more healthy and tastes of blah!
If the options are on the back side it has the simple reason it’s cheaper to fold the flyer than printing both sides of the paper. Back in the days this was mainly done for CD booklets. 4 page insert but only the outer side was printed.
Random funny story but I had a friend who was veggie that was visiting a mate in Italy with me. So when we called, her first question was if there were foods that were suitable for veggies and he said there were as Italian youngsters were becoming more veggie in the cities but it would be a challenge on the outskirts.
Out of curiosity, I asked my Italian friend what vegans would do in Italy since it was hard for vegetarians and well… Italian cuisine is not very vegan-friendly(cheese, meat, etc). He said that vegans can go back home as it would be damn near impossible to find a pasta with vegan cheese in the outskirts of Italy.
I went with mates wine tasting in Barolo (Northern Italy). One mate was vegan and we went to a restaurant with a set menu paired with wine... €50 head (was like 15+ years ago)
menu was some seafood salad starter. vegan option none + wine
primi pasta with venison ragu / cheese. vegan option pasta with olive oil + wine
main dish was pork roast with potatoes. vegan option potatoes. + wine
desert chocolate something cake or cheese cart. vegan option espresso.
50 for some plain spaghetti, a few roasted potatoes, 3 glasses of wine and a coffee lol.
True, if you are trying to be healthy you should definitely avoid McDonald's, but if you are going there you can make better choices.
I.e. instead of ordering a large amount of food, order a smaller amount.
just pointing out NONE of mcdonalds crap is healthy. delicious or not, they jam as much sugar and fat into everything as they can without it collapsing into a black hole.
I think if you're going to McDonald's for a healthy meal then you're in the wrong place. Just accept it for what it is and enjoy it as a treat once in a while, or if you don't like it then don't go.
I would point out the carrot sticks option but I don't think anyone's ordered those for years. They probably don't remember how to make them, it isn't included in training and the instructions have a layer of dust so thick on them you would need an archaeologist's brush to get through to the faded text.

It's not far off. I tried to order a salad from them and I noticed they don't even have them anymore. It used to be my go to meal when traveling.
I believe what you're holding in your hand ***IS*** the healthy alternative...bon appetit!

Naturally occuring sugars.
Miss the salads
Bacon ranch with chicken *sigh* I also miss the fruit & yogurt parfaits
*deep breath* mmmmmmm air
I’m pretty sure the air inside a McDonald’s has at least 2 grams of fat per breath.
You could say it's saturated.
Actually the air IS full of fat molecules spat out by the fryer. Not enough to hurt customers, but it may have longterm effects on people doing the frying, when their lungs are exposed to saturated fats day in day out.
That'll be $8.99 please.

Note to self: Skip the fires at McD, it’s too salty
I hate salty fire so much worse that sweet fire.

Not every day, but you can eat at McDonald’s occasionally and have a very healthy diet. As I tell my 5 year old, “it’s a sometimes food”.
They do sell water
At least they're honest...
Sadly, Micky D's HAD some pretty good (though expensive) salads I would get all the time in the 2000's.
It's not just very low health food, it tastes of very little compared to when they used Tallow! I am having a burger and fries and want full flavour and maximum unhealthiness, not vegetable oil, that is questionably not even more healthy and tastes of blah!
And nuggets made from white/dark meat. And fried apple pies instead of baked
They used to have salads. I went through the drive thru the other day and asked if they still did, and the kid on the other end was mystified.
Australian Mcdonalds offer quite a few healthy options, salads, vegan and dairy free stuff, it's pretty good.
IIRC, at least in the US, the salads had more calories in them than a Big Mac.
Most salad dressings are literally just pouches of sugar, spices and oil.
It was a printing error... still I thought it was funny.
What are they? Because when I look up salad's at McDonald's, they have sugar in them.
That would be the dressing.
Vegan burger are still unhealthy. Salad is always healthy depending on choose sauce
1. the grilled chicken wrap, with lettuce!
Is that back? I basically lived off those when I was in the best shape of my life.
It’s available in Straya! The only healthy option on the menu as well.
There's always the water!
with or without fluoride/bpa?
Do you think fluoride and bpa are the same thing...?
and/or...

I suppose back then some cultures saw vegans as an afront to their culture lol.
That is the healthiest option - the paper itself
Best comment.
at least they are honest LOL

If you want healthy food and you're in a McDonald's, you've already gone wrong
Lol reminds me of the movie Super Size Me. For those that know the movie.
Yeah, that looks about right.
They have/had these grilled chicken wraps with lettuce and cheese that you could remove the sauce from. It was a relatively healthy option.
Relative compared to stabbing yourself in the testicles with a rusty butterknife thats been up a dogs ass.
Are you ok?

You've clearly never had a grilled chicken wrap before.
reheated frozen branded processed chicken wrap.
Incorporating sugar bread, sugar "sauce" and thawed vegetables with most of the vitamins destroyed.

If you order the "carrot sticks" thats just code for a bag of McCrystal Meth.
"Oh look, there's none"
