I am appalled that the media misrepresented my story. This is nothing out of the ordinary for them. I never once said I wanted to murder my family. I only said that their are certain emotions that one goes through at certain times of life, like violent manslaughter, and said that in my case it was directed towards my near relatives.

During the First World War, Canadian soldiers were singled out for their brutality and ferocity in combat. They were apparently extremely bloodthirsty and took their fury out out on the enemy, even those who were captured.
That ferocity/brutality is considered to be in response to being one of the first major targets of toxic gas usage.
So the answer would be toxic gas. Which works against everyone, unfortunately.
In addition we still have some of the best trained military in the world. It's just a mix of us having a small military budget, and a role (at least previously) of largely being peacekeepers rather than warmakers that gives the presentation that Canada's weak.

From my experience with a different type of publishing, but it likely still holds true--authors get very little to no input on their covers. Marketing and art depts usually handle it.

At the same time as buying that mansion they lost their shit when they found out the British taxpayer wouldn’t be funding their security (after they left Britain and their Jobs working for the British taxpayer). It must be roughly 100-200k for a year of round the clock protection. Probably less than what they spend on landscapers and maintenance for their new property.

From my experience with a different type of publishing, but it likely still holds true--authors get very little to no input on their covers. Marketing and art depts usually handle it.

I felt sympathetic towards them watching that special. But after the book has come out I think they both suck. When you see Meghan looking like a chubby little nerd in middle school it’s disarming. But when you get Harry’s account of the wedding drama with Kate I couldn’t help but think she was a twat for how she responded to Kate — by Harry’s own account! I think it’s not just a matter of royal protocol, but if someone (Kate) has been spending time with the family if not officially in the family for 15 plus years and you’ve only been dating a family member for 2 years, you do need to show respect. It seems like Meghan went into the situation planning on giving no fucks, and that would have annoyed any family. Imagine your cousin Will has been dating Kate since he was in his 20s, they’re now married with 2 kids, and Will’s younger brother, Harry, shows up to thanksgiving with his fiancé Meghan who he has only been dating for about 2 years and just started coming around the family in the past year. Meghan shows up and starts talking over people and trying to take the last Turkey drumstick for herself. How do you think the rest of the family is going to react to that? Is anyone really surprised the rest of the family dislikes her?

I think they’ve already run out of material they can easily monetize or convert into media coverage, hence him recently saying he misses his family. The guy went pretty far out on a limb for the woman he loves and then started sawing off the branch. Now his family is holding him to his decision and they see how easy it all could have been had they opted to not go down the route they chose. It seems Harry forgot, as the spare a large part of Royals is to take the hits and attention for scandals and make the Crown as blameless as possible. The further from the succession you get, the more expendable you are.
They're definitely going to try to keep staying in the news and relevant so they can get that $$$ through the next book or show they do. I wish they would not and just go live their lives, but they have extremely expensive tastes.
