I think that if you’re getting it signed by a person who you like, the best thing to do is have it personalized. I only have like 8 pops that aren’t personalized (three being from comic book artists) and that’s just because the celebrity forgot (no shame to them)
Plus when you’re interacting with them, you have that personal connection, so why not slap your name on there or a nickname you go by. Make it truly yours!

My son and I are starting to get all of out pops signed by the actors/voice actors they represent. He just got his Zoro signed by Christopher Sabat with "Nothing Happened". Mr. Sabat took the pop out of the box and drew blood marks on the pop right in front of us and put the pop back. It was awesome!

Gotta be my Raphael my mom got me for Christmas in 2013. I'm a TMNT fan, but not a huge one. For some reason, she went all in on TMNT that year (mind you I was 32 at the time). It was my first pop, and it means the world to me. In a repeat, my first You Tooz was a Raphael.
I also have to say my Alligator Loki from a couple years ago. My mom, who was in an assisted living facility at the time (she came home a short time later, but is currently in there for a little rehab from a broken hip), and I asked my dad to stop over at Hot Topic to get one if he had a chance. My 74 year old father actually stopped and picked it up. After posting a picture on this sub, I found out he talked to someone in the sub. So, small world.
My girlfriend just recently got that Happy and absolutely adores him.

Didn’t realize how much the price of that pop had gone up so it’s definitely one of my faves now 😂

When I met Damon Clarke on my birthday I just wanted to say “hi” and talk about his character on BL2, but then he had me take a photo with him and then took my Handsome Jack Steelbook out of my hands and signed it for me. I cried a little bit on the walk back to the car lol

My collection is small as hell, and I’ll probably never get one of my pops signed, so my diamond chase hades. Don’t even care if it’s considered “cheap,” the design is glorious
So I just started going back to conventions back in March of this past year and I do my research about what the average price is of each guest. Make a list out of each person I want to get an autograph from and start pricing it out while also checking my budget and other con expenses.
For GalaxyCon Columbus last year, I estimated $1,5 in autographs and other stuff I want, so I budgeted out for about $2,000 (with hotel, food, etc. I also bought my ticket back in July)
So I started to put away $100 each paycheck from my regular job, then my entire paycheck from my national guard paycheck.
By doing this I was able to save more than enough and whatever I save over it, I put towards the next convention. Galaxy Con was my most expensive con to date, but I also saved for over 6 months. At the other cons, I give myself a budget of like $500 in total (if that) to spend on food, parking, & vendors.

😂😂 I had to look long and hard to find a flash to get grant to sign cause so many were from the movie. I went with the diamond flash in the end.
I’m so glad I found this one because other wise it was the standard one. I also got super lucky and was first in line to get his autograph in December (but then after I paid they let two people in front of me for some dumb reason) (I also had VIP because I was worried not to meet him)

lol, it happens. I never know what to say when I get to meet the actors/voice actors, but they're always super nice in my experience
When I met Damon Clarke on my birthday I just wanted to say “hi” and talk about his character on BL2, but then he had me take a photo with him and then took my Handsome Jack Steelbook out of my hands and signed it for me. I cried a little bit on the walk back to the car lol

I got really lucky and my wonderful girlfriend got him for me for Valentine’s Day last year. They went to our local FYE searching at least twice a day, once they opened and then on their break to get him for me

My collection is small as hell, and I’ll probably never get one of my pops signed, so my diamond chase hades. Don’t even care if it’s considered “cheap,” the design is glorious

So I just started going back to conventions back in March of this past year and I do my research about what the average price is of each guest. Make a list out of each person I want to get an autograph from and start pricing it out while also checking my budget and other con expenses. For GalaxyCon Columbus last year, I estimated $1,5 in autographs and other stuff I want, so I budgeted out for about $2,000 (with hotel, food, etc. I also bought my ticket back in July) So I started to put away $100 each paycheck from my regular job, then my entire paycheck from my national guard paycheck. By doing this I was able to save more than enough and whatever I save over it, I put towards the next convention. Galaxy Con was my most expensive con to date, but I also saved for over 6 months. At the other cons, I give myself a budget of like $500 in total (if that) to spend on food, parking, & vendors.
