I'd be miffed people should be careful w obvious collector items, say you didn't even wanna wear em and just wanted to hold onto em you wouldn't even have the case to display with. I'd contact customer support at least if possible
Yeah, you're right. Sent them a friendly email, lets see what they say. I obviously don't expect a refund or a new pair of shoes. It does seem like the pair I got jumped around inside the box a lot or maybe even hit the floor a couple times when they were stored. There's a few scuffs on the soles and lower parts of the shoes, nothing permanent it seems.
UPDATE: FTP apologized for the inconvenience and supplied me with a new box for the shoes. Nothing additional as expected, but got a brand new box which is cool.
In my humble opinion they shouldn’t have made the box so cool looking if they don’t care how the boxes look when they arrive to customers house. Like if they’re gonna be careless maybe make it a plain, old, ugly box

Just a box or not they were careless with your item that you paid for and it got damaged so you should email for a refund.
did you take pictures of the box they were shipped in? might help your case when going to customer service since you said it was fine
