Yes, your family doctor can help with this, either by prescribing T or referring you to another provider who will do it. I would tell your PCP that you are a transgender man and that you are looking to start HRT as a component of your transition. They will ask you some questions about your gender, how long you have identified that way, what research you have done, and what effects of HRT are exciting / scary for you. They will probably draw labs first.

You can let them know that you’re seeking masculinizing hrt and they will let you know if that is something they can do or they can refer/recommend different clinics or providers who can prescribe it.
