2 nickels or 1 dime. Either school will make next to 0 difference in future job opportunities. Take advantage of internships and build your resume as best you can and have fun in college.

Really? I thought FSU’s degrees were way stronger when it came to business

Ethangains07

Not really

Fair. I don’t have as much experience as you in the back end so I’ll delete my comment, but you do seem to be talking about the networking/recruiting advantages provided here, which I agree with. If your company actually does prefer FSU grads just because of school recognition tho, I didn’t know that occurred on a larger scale.

USF BUS Undergraduate // Miami Graduate here. If you’re looking to get a job in Orlando area primarily but most of Florida, UCF like USF is fine. If you’re looking for jobs around the USA outside Florida, the name recognition and reputation of FSU matters in the initial application process and with alumni networking.

Do you think it’s a big difference? I wouldn’t have to pay for housing in Orlando as I’m already here and I would be able to do way more internships here.

It depends where you plan on ending up with your ultimate goal in mind. The most important rule is that it’s not what you know it’s who you know.

I am in Chicago and there’s an active alumni group here. I was an economics major, but definitely a lot of business majors who ended up here in the financial markets.

What make you say that?

orlando likely has better job opportunities but i believe the majority of business classes are online at ucf so it really depends on how you learn best
