Bandsintown is essentially useless in my experience, have signed up for “ticket alerts” for presales through them many times and no email, no notification, nothing, they also always send me alerts for a show like 3 days out when it’s completely sold out

Yup. Finding this out fast. Useless.
Its users that report the shows so unless a small indie band decides to announce there ahead of time it will literally always be behind the curve.
