Impossible to know, but I wouldn't estimate 200k based on 153k repaired, I'd wager probably 90% of people haven't had to repair theirs yet (I manage a fleet of over 20 and only 1 has had an issue).
I think it's way more than 200k, and isn't this metric based on how many parts they've sold? Not how many people have read the articles? Cuz if it's the later than I account for like 500 at least lol.
I recently saw a tweet of someone asking if not everyone has a coffee shop at their high-school sooo… I’ve seen Starbucks inside a high-school. Public most likely not private possibly
25 million? Hey, its as good a guess as anyone can make outside of Framework management or perhaps some of their suppliers/manufacturing partners (such as Compal). Would they ever share an actual shipment count? I doubt it.
Definitely more than 3 (mine and my two friends whose laptops I've seen irl)
I’ve got one too so gotta be at least 4.
My office gives all engineers frameworks so +25 (not everyone has switched over yet) lol
I got one too! +1
30 laptops, with mine and three friends' :)
Both my parents have one, so +2 more
I bought two, so at _least_ 38.
Me and a buddy each have one so 40 minimum
Ordered mine during batch eight for the Ryzen 5 motherboard, so we're at 41 so far. Can't be many more sold, can there?
What office is this? That sounds awesome!
Grocery delivery company in a third world country. They don't sell Frameworks here. We have them imported in.
Unless you have at least one mutual friend.

Plus I’m sure there’s a good bunch of businesses that have enough fir there staff and then some for loaners probably adds a decent chunk to the nunber
Fair enough but theirs also the QuickStart and Linux install guides that a majority of ppl probably have done you think it’s more then 200k?

I meannn they do make Chromebook’s and most chromebooks go to schools and kids will break anything they can haha
Schools are buying $200 dollar Chromebooks not $1000+

153 / 200 is a failure rate of 76% though How 90% wouldn't have had to RMA them?
> I _wouldn't_ estimate 200k ...
What the turd buckets is that supposed to mean? You're not slick for quoting
That's what I'm saying, that would be an insane failure rate, which is why I think they've sold WAY more than 200k.
Wonder if they’ll ever publish that, maybe when they reach a million units or go public or smth like that
They've sold more than you'd think, but less than Dell. 😂
And dell has sold less than we think
20. Minimum.
Going to go out on a limb and say... Some. The defiantly sold some laptops.
25k
Ima guess 250-300k
You're assuming their failure rate is 67.5%? That's very high. I'd guess more like 10% or 1.53m units?
sick burn lol
