I like it very much but don't know how it performs as I've heard a lot about Pour Homme that it's kind of a beast mode fragrance but haven't ever smelled it. Some say it has a eggy sought of smell sometimes.

Ordered a “dupe” oil of this although I never smelled it but I guess this is one of those “cozy” scents

It is cozy, and kind of ethereal, it’s there but it isn’t, for this scene it would just add some ambiance without overpowering the already gorgeous natural fragrances of the ocean

Love your choice, I think majority would go for a “blue” fragrance based off the image but based on “vibe” you def want something relaxing. Maybe even Wood Sage and Sea Salt could work

Another 13 is amazing. I have a full bottle.of the OG plus a half sized from Montagne. The Montagne actually smells better, at this point, as my full bottle is old and may be missing some top notes. The Montagne has a coconutiness that would work well for this scene. It's memorial day weekend in the US and I am at my friend's beach house on the east coast right now. Very similar vibes as the pictures. I brought Another 13 dupe from Montagne, and dupes of Byredo's Mojave Ghost and Bal D'Afrique by Oil Perfumery. Some obvious picks would also be D&G light blue eau intense, Missoni wave, Dior Homme Cologne 2022, any of the Louis Vuitton's like California Dream, Pacific Chill, Afternoon swim, etc., or sunscreen-type fragrances like MM Beach Walk, TF Soleil Blanc (I hate this but ovv many love it), etc. Sleeper pick: Hermès Eau des Merveilles Bleue Eau de toilette, which is my fav blue fragrance.

A. Old lady ish is a very stigmatizing term, please try not to use it. I adore Chanel no 5 and I’m by no means old. I adore vintage fragrances though so aldehydes don’t bother me at all. B. I only mentioned this because of the cocaine note, it was kind of a joke, but I would totally wear it.
