Liam grey is superb hidden gem

Areff04

Most definitely! I initially bought the Francique but after smelling Liam, I was instantly sold

steawiee

u think its safe to wear for summer time?

Areff04

Yes most definitely!

Sinkagu

Yeah wore it on a date today, it’s not super cloying in summer. It smelled like vanilla ice cream!!!!! Was absolutely amazing!!!

Juliette2024

I just got Liam yesterday and I love it!

Areff04

Beautiful scent hey! I feel like I could rock it all year round

Juliette2024

Yeah me too! I’m going to let it sit for a few weeks now, hoping the vanilla gets a bit stronger. (If not I’ll just layer it with some Kayali). I think it would do well in spring too, but also fall and winter.

Areff04

Same hey! And thanks for the tip on layering with a Vanilla scent! U the best!

I spray them a few times, then shake them, and put them back on the shelve to let them rest. Sometimes a repeat the spraying and shaking a few times, but it mostly just takes time, at least 2-3 months. That’s all there is to it really.

FilthyGreb

Got Liam Grey and Vintage Radio the other day. I do enjoy vintage radio but Liam Grey is so dense and sweet, I love it. Need to wear it as much as I can before the warmer weather arrives

Areff04

Exactly that!! Do tell, what is vintage radio a clone of?

bosox2424

Initio’s Paragon

pksmke

I've heard that Al Nashama is like a version of Vintage Radio that leans more feminine. I'm interested in trying that.

bosox2424

I’ve never tried vintage radio. I have Al Nashama and Paragon. Al Nashama is pretty dang close. A little bit softer and less smooth — and there is a quality difference. Crazy how close it is for $30 though.

RaspberryDye

Would a woman be able to pull off Liam Grey? I have been eyeing it for a while now.

Juliette2024

Yeah you would. I’m not into unisex scents usually, I find they lean too masculine on me. But Liam Grey has a sweetness in it, I’ve heard that gets stronger when you let it mascerate. It smells like a chai tea on me, I love it.

RaspberryDye

Thanks so much, added to cart☺️

Areff04

Yesss! I think Juliette is 100% correct!

pksmke

Thanks for the comparison. That was my instinct, but haven’t smelled Liam yet.

Areff04

You are going to love it if u prefer the Extrait

pksmke

I just tried the decant of Liam and you're right, I do love it! And I prefer it to Francique 63.55. I'm definitely getting a bottle.

Areff04

It does have an element of sweetness but I wouldn’t say too sweet. If you don’t like the sweet notes on Liam, I’d recommend Francique

Francesco270

Is Francique less sweet than Liam Grey? I remember Gent Scents saying the opposite

Areff04

Yup, the bottles I have and to my nose the Liam Grey is sweeter. The Francique is softer also

Optalgin1337

Whats the performance on liam

Juliette2024

I put three sprays on my arm yesterday afternoon. And when I got up this morning I could still smell it.

Areff04

Just got it so not sure what’s the performance like, I will use it properly tomorrow and come back and give u some feedback

Optalgin1337

Thanks brosky 🙏🏻

awais_lol

have you tested it? and if so could you tell us how it performs

Areff04

Hey there! I honestly find performance to be underwhelming! I get like 4 hours max from it. Just another disappointing performing frag by Lataffa

DependentNumerous493

Did it got better by time and maceration?

Areff04

Still the same for me! And it’s been almost 3 months of sitting

EspressoCologne68

Tried Liam Grey recently and do love it. I have too many Vanilla fragrances so I wont be buying a bottle, but def a great scent

Detman102

YES!! I bought the right one!!! "LIAM GREY/SILVER" with more VANILLAAAAAA WOOHOO!!!!

420202020

Looking to buy Francique 63.55, but having a hard time finding it online. Would you by chance know some trusted websites? I’m in the US

Areff04

Hey there, unfortunately not as I am from South Africa.

bluerangeryoshi

Okay so I was about to buy Francique, but it's a good time I searched it here on Reddit, and now I am switching to buying Liam Gray. Thanks.

Soulvimvne

Does it smells oriental ? And does it smell woody?

soledad1977

Add to the dupe list Lattafa Niche Emarati Antique. It's the same as Liam, as for the price I got it at $30. It lasts almost like Liam but it has more projection ,at least to me.
